Command Chambers - Skull Haven
Well if you've seen one command center, you've more than likely seen them all. This is the hub of Africa, the very brain center that runs the entire continent. Mass conspiracy to subvert the citizens? You betcha, it probably gets run right here. The room itself is filled with monitors and consoles and control panels, precisely what you'd expect in a command center. There are swivel chairs, leather chairs, padded chairs and stools. And desks, let's not forget the desks. Past the large holographic display showing Africa, sliding plexiglass doors lead out to the balcony, where the splendor of Robot Master controlled Africa may be witnessed.

Symphony
She is dressed for battle, but lightly so -- not armored for a lot of actual fighting, but rather for the added protection it offers. Matte black combat armor encases her, causing her feminine figure to appear slightly more chunky and bulky with its rigid torso, moulded to underline her curves while adding the impression of prowess.
A mesh of highly flexible scales covers the joints of her armor suit, combining protection with less actual encumbrance. Where torso tapers to waist, the hardy scales take over for the armor plating, allowing her maximum freedom of movement at the hips. At the thighs, the armor plating takes over again in the form of snugly fitting greaves that form hard-cased boots with two-inch stiletto heels. On the forearms the armor plating gives way to only lightly armored gauntlets.
Her set of armor is completed by a helmet, a simple affair without embolishments. It is rather similar to Blues' in that while leaving her nose and mouth free (the latter wearing distinct dark lipstick), it covers the larger part of her face with goggles that, from this side, seem to be perfect mirrors.
King chuckles, and bows again, crossing his arms across his chest again as he straightens. "Prithee, if thou wouldst, inform us when we can be of service to further the Great Wily's will."
Pharaoh Man enters, flanked by a pair of his typical mummified guard drone lackeys. He eyes the room, looking down from his proverbial high horse upon the working gumbies staffing the center.
Symphony is standing by the öarge holo-emitters, which currently show the overall map of Africa along with detailed view of Madagascar, India, and the Middle East. She nods up at King, smiling pleasantly at the Master Monarch. "Certainly, your Majesty. I will keep the upper echelons briefed as we make progress."
Tengu Man enters the room as well, shortly after Pharaoh. It's evident that Tengu didn't intend to arrive at the same time as his Egyptian brother, as he sort of hangs back and waits. He walks over to the side, out of the way, finding some random pylon to put his back to. His eyes flick back and forth, looking over the Haven's Command Center, as if...waiting for something to happen.
"Further the great Wily's will? I like the sounds of that, yes indeed." The doors to the command chamber slide shut behind Dr. Wily himself. An easy grin upon his face, he strolls into the room, cane tapping off the beats of his steps. He glances at the holomap and a frown crosses his face briefly as he eyes the territory not controlled by the Masters. Then the grin returns and Wily glances to each of the Masters in turn. "I hope that nobody has anything to do. You see...I have a little fun in mind for us all." He rubs his hands together gleefully, the end of the cane waggling under his arm. "Yes.....quite fun. And useful too. Those fools will never understand until it's too late! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Evil cackling already? This must be an interesting plan.
King stands near Symphony, a train of mets holding up his cloak. One of them is looking distraught, and there is a smudge on the cloak where it is holding it up. He turns and looks as the other Masters enter, but then in comes the Doc himself. Instantly King drops to one knee, his head lowered respectfully. "Great Lord Wily, what wills thee we do?"
Pharaoh Man immidiatly comes to attention at the sighting of his lord and god, Dr. Wily. " Amun-Wily! We are all at your disposal for the certainly GENIUS plan you have concocted, and will not fail you! "
Tengu Man perks up visibly at the mention of the word 'fun'. He looks over to Wily, pushing himself lightly off the wall-pylon. "Hey Dad!" he greets cheerfully, though whether that's forced or genuine is up in the air. "Fun, huh, Dad? I can't wait," he says, his tone of voice lowering in anticipation of something that will entertain the WilyDemon. Be it violence or otherwise... "I'm here if you need me, of course..."
As King turns, so does Symphony, acknowledging the other Masters with a barely noticeable nod before centering her full attention on Wily. "Ahh, Doctor Wily. How pleasing to see you are back up to par, as it were. And already plotting again, too." Her lips pucker slightly, and her blue eyes blaze with something that is too much like predatory amusement to make less evil people feel comfortable. "We are all ears, I'm sure."
At the insane laughter, the teleporter to Asteroid B activates. Two forms materialize within; Bass and Treble. Combined, they are Wily's ultimate weapon. Apart, they are equally menacing to the world at large.
The Force Commander steps out of the teleporter, Treble following closely behind him. He gives a look of contempt to all present, though his gaze moves back to the raucous Wily after a moment's consideration of the circumstances.
"Oh, hurrah," he says with an utter void of enthusiasm. "A plan."

Dr. Wily turns to raise one bushy eyebrow at Bass. "Enthusiastic as always, I see. How gratifying to see that some things never change." Wily's voice practically drips with sarcasm as he addresses Bass, though it softens as he speaks again. "As I knew you would be, Pharaoh. I think that we will all enjoy this little outing." This with a glance to Tengu, then over to Symphony. "You should appreciate this as well. It involves a bit of deceit in addition to brute force." He rubs his hands once more. "You see...we are going to have a little fun with our enemies. He rummages in his pockets for a moment and tosses a small disk to Tengu Man. "Attach that to your armor and press the button."
King looks up to spit Bass on a glare of daggers, but he refrains from spitting his venom at the Bassman in front of Wily. Instead, he turns his gaze back to Wily, and then looks back down to lower his gaze from the man he considers God.
Pharaoh Man narrows his eyes at the Force Commander, " Amun-Wily's plans are sheer intellectual master pieces, and you should be honored to partake in one..." the Master of Sands comments idly, crossing his arms about the android's mummified chest in impatience.
Symphony's look to Bass is very much less deadly; in fact, it is rather amused. The doesn't fall in with a comment of her own, but rather turns her attention to Tengu, watching very closely what the not-so-good Doctor's device will do.
Tengu Man catches the tossed disk, looking it over with interest. "Sure, Dad." He moves his hand to where his heart would be if he were human, and the disk clips on, or such. As soon as contact is made a hologram shimmers into being over Tengu Man's form, and soon the WilyDemon is replaced by the noble form of the Maverick Air Elite, Storm Eagle. Tengu, or rather, Storm Eagle raises his hands to his face, looking them over. "...cool," he comments in Storm's voice. "Very cool."
Suddenly Storm raises a hand to his forehead, tapping near his right eye. "Dad. Looks like we have company in Theta Territory. My birds have a visual..."
Serenade arrives without fanfare, noise or really much of anything at all, at her sister's behest. Why she'd have to be here was beyond her, though this place certainly did give her the android version of the creeps. Watching Tengu become Storm Eagle draws a quirk of one eyebrow beneath her helm, but no actual words, choosing to lurk near the entranceway.
Bass rolls his eyes as Dr. Wily looks away. Treble makes a *chuff* noise, puffing air out through his muzzle while idly sniffing at the surroundings.
"Hurray, a family outing," says Bass, looking at the much-hated King with an equally hostile gaze; his tone does not change, so Wily probably doesn't notice the shift in his demeanor. Indeed, by the time Wily would look back to him, his expression is once again a mixture of boredom and contempt. The familiar *ploomf* of Bass' Buster arm moving to cannon-mode doesn't even merit a grouse on the Force Commander's part -- the casual way he raises his arm and points the cannon at Pharaoh Man's face would make the incoming onslaught that much more surprising.
Bass' train of thought is interrupted by Tengu Man's report. He brings the still-active cannon down and looks to Tengu, addressing him.
"Who, and how many?" he asks, expectantly, secretly hoping Mega Man is paying a visit.
Pharaoh Man pulls his scepter out of subspace at Bass' raising of the cannon, and sneers in preperation for conflict...only to be distracted as well by the report by Storm Eagle/Tengu Man, " Trespassers?! They shall be vanquished....." the android growls, clenching his free hand into a fist.
Gyfu> It's usually sunny in this region of Africa, and the cursed heat doesn't help to make of this region a nice place to visitors who aren't used to high temperatures. That's the case of Gale Sorcerer, mostly because his systems weren't designed to stand high temperatures. Anyway, the agent has got today an operation to run, and that's why four, apparently ordinary looking people run through the streets of one of the region's towns. They're all UN agents, but no one but them is supposed to know that. Of course who would imagine an old man who walks with a cane is a UN agent in disguise? Quietly walking while he watches the area, Gale looks back at his compations and speaks with an old man's voice. "Hmmm, let's try sitting in some place around here. We need to wait for the others somewhere"
King looks over at Storm Tengu, and frowns. "Lord Father Wily, dost thou wish us to...chastise these interlopers in thy domain, lest they get the inclination that mayhap we dost not care what they do? T'would be the gravest of dangers should the forces of our enemies gain access to thy territory uncontested."
Dr. Wily grins as his holoemitter works perfectly. "Excellent. With this we can turn our enemies against one another!" He seems about to continue, then stops as 'Storm' gives his report. "What?! How many? Where?" A glance at Bass as he realizes how closely the two just echoed each other. "Well..not what I had expected. No matter, I can still turn this to my advantage." He fishes two more of the disks out of his pocket and looks to the Masters. "We will meet this incursion. Tengu Man and two others will go disguised as Mavericks." He looks to Bass and then smiles evilly at the other Masters. "Those of you in disguise, you may engage your brothers but lower the power of your weaponry. The idea here is to confuse them, not destroy each other. Or, engage the trespassers if you wish." A glance to the two disks. "Now...who wishes to go in disguise? Decide quickly, I want them OUT of our territory as soon as possible."
Pharaoh Man steps forwards, " Reaping confusion among our enemies! A most excellent idea Amun-Wily! I shall partake in this skirmish in the guise of a Maverick, attacking the pathetic infidels who dared violate your borders! "
Blah blah blah, grandstanding and arguing. Serenade rolls her eyes when Bass, Pharaoh and King appear to kick up the hostilities once more, crossing her arms over her chest. What was with her brothers and the synthetic testosterone poisoning? Disguises? "I can do that, if you want." Not like she had anything better to do, right? Right?
Storm Tengu's eyes narrow as he views the live feed to his optics, analyzing the images. "Magnify," he mutters quietly, apparently issuing an order to the rotund Tengu Birds. "Uhuh." He looks over at Bass, then back to his father. "I'm not sure. But they don't belong there, that's for sure. There's...hm. Appears to be four humans just walking through Khartoum, but I'm POSITIVE they're not supposed to be there." 'Storm Eagle' hmms, pensive at this new comment... we can beat up on our brothers? Interesting. "Alrighty, Dad... I'll keep an eye on 'em." He goes back to viewing the live feed, trying to pick out who's who...
Gyfu> "And where better than out in the middle of nowhere, right?" another of the disguise agents grouses, more to himself than to the rest of the posse. Who IS that, anyway? Abernathy, actually, the diplomat looking quite unlike himself in his current garb. "But that's fine. I don't mind sitting here and getting a lovely sunburn while waiting for /everyone else/ to catch up." Someone's unhappy. Or maybe that's just how he is normally.
Symphony's brows raise softly at the holo-emitted disguise, and she nods approvingly. Her gaze slipping tothe entrance, she notes Serenade coming in, and nods at her. "Yes, do," she says, and turning to Wily, she adds, "You will have to excuse me, Doctor, but I think I ill fit into this scheme as a participant in battle."
Gyfu> Bridgit Cascio wanders after the old man, fairly brazenly open - that is, not in disguise. The redhead seems unfazed as she meanders down the street, hands in her pockets and a backpack slung casually over her shoulder. She walks with a slight limp, left leg giving her a rolling gait. "Make sure it's in the shade, 'cuz I swear t'god if I hear him," she jerks a thumb over her shoulder at Abernathy, "complain one more time about th'heat, I'm gonna stuff him down th'next well we see."
Gyfu> By the way, don't look up.
Should any of you UN folks look up, you'll notice a small 'v' shaped flock of large black, round birds up in the sky. Oh, there's a white one too, in the lead, but it's...different. It almost looks like an eagle, but aren't eagles mostly brown?
Gyfu> Standing next to Gale, the ponchoed man simply nods. Elias isn't being terribly eloquent at the moment. It could be anything. He then glares at Abernathy, about to retort, before Bridgit beats him to it. "Over there could work." He says, pointing to a vaguely shaded area.
Gyfu> Gale Sorcerer sighs for a moment looking at Bridgit and Abernathy behind him, then turning his head towards Elias and nodding. "Yeah, that looks like a nice place. Shady and not too hot." He looks behind him again at his companions and moves his head slightly towards the suggested place. While they start walking, the "old man" notices something odd above him. Well, he's not a zoologist, but in the era we live in, no one knows what's normal and what not. "Any of you guys know what are those things above us?" he asks while looking at the sky.
Great minds and all. Or maybe it's just an obvious question to ask. Either way, Bass is prepared. He /hates/ trespassers. It's the principle of it.
He listens to the `plan' and allows himself a smirk. It makes sense enough ... and if he gets a chance to shoot up Robot Masters, well, all the better. His eyes track across tonight's victims cooly before returning to Wily.
"Let's move."
You save your current description as 'Storm_Eagle.'
Metal Man arrives from the Upper Hall - Skull Haven.
Metal Man has arrived.
Dr. Wily smiles as the Masters readily step up to the mission. "Allright. Lets get going then." He leaves his hand just long enough for the other two disks to be taken, then turns for the door. "I'll be accompanying you in the saucer." He glances back at Bass. "Bass will command the undisguised group while I command the other. Now get going." With that, Wily heads for the vehicle bay and his saucer, trusting the others to get themselves in order follow.

Gyfu> Slinking along after the rest of them toward the oh-so-convenient shade, Abby smirks at Bri's threat. "You know I like it that way, baby," he deadpans in response--before being distracted mid-commentary by Gale's question. Producing a pair of sunglasses from a concealed pocket of the duster, he perches them on his nose, and glances up at the birds. "--Birds," he comments, flatly. "Ugly birds." All right, so he's not a zoologist, either.
Pharaoh Man then heads out....

Lake Wily / Aswan Dam (Aswan Lake Region)
Lake Nasser is no more. In it's place is now the newly christened Lake Wily, in honor of the new ruling power of the area. The lake remains the same physically, still one of the larges man made bodies of water made, thanks to the concrete structure bolstered at its northern edge - the Aswan Dam. The refurbished antiquated dam has been given another face lift as well, with several more watch towers and additional bracing to prevent breaks. Farther south, amidst small hovels and alcoves along the way, a large housing project has popped up, about 10 miles north of the Sudanese capital of Khartoum. Both major emplacements are guarded by masses of drones and security outposts, manned mainly by Joes bearing the Wily W and a greek character known to be a Theta. This is firmly Wily country, people. Good guys beware.

=======================================================[E BON STEED]==========
A mighty mechanincal equine hovers in regality before thine eyes, a glossy ebon shimmer to the entire mobile craft. A spherical breast in the forefront, equipped with a pair of turbine engines on either side, allocated in order to engage the beast in a retreating motion, periodically expell a blast of air before it. A powerful neck cranes upon the foremost structure, a metallic mohawk of crimson rides the extended piece until two audio receptors on either side of the skull protrude into the air, constantly rotating as information is gathered. An optic beam rests from each receptor to the next, a single light flashing from end to end. Beyond this point resides an expansive saddle, styled for a modern age. Gauges, dials, meters, and many other points of interest burst in number along the neck of the seat, allowing the pilot to obtain information pertaining to the equine's performace. On either side of the stirrups, twin rockets reside, smaller than the front pair. These aid in speed, but that is their single purpose. Towards the rear of the craft, three massive engines rest, a purple haze whipping at their ends with a potential fury of fearful proportions. As a whole, this creature of mechanized splendor provides the king of the Elite forces of the Robot Masters with a means of transportation, and an advantage in battle. It would be wise not to trifle with the masterpiece before you.

King
King has arrived.
Transport Mechquine <Caesura II> has left.
King takes Transport Mechquine <Caesura II>.
Bridgit Cascio stares back at Abernathy with a savage glare, green eyes cold and bright as emeralds. "You'll learn to hate it later," she deadpans before looking up, eyes squinting at the birds. "Aw, look. They're flockin'."
Elias Kiritsu hrmphs. "Whatever they are, this doesn't quite seem right." Elias resists the urge to go for one of his guns, but simply grabs a bottle of water instead, and takes a sip from it. But one suddenly has to wonder, what was he going for the guns FOR?
[Radio: (B) Secure] Pharaoh Man transmits, "Amun-Wily...shall myself and Tengu engage first, or shall we await Bass and King to engage?"
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Bass, are you in position?"
[Radio: (B) Secure] Metal Man transmits, "Standing by."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Bass transmits, "Coming in hard and fast."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Entering the area. Standing by. The birds are above their position."
[Radio: (B) Secure] King transmits, "Lord Wily Almighty, if we are to maketh the Mavericks seemeth the brigands they art in this case, shouldst we not allow the noble souls posing as such fiends to striketh the first place?"
There are flocks of seagulls, packs of wolves, but a group of crows is a murder. Men in this modern age have puzzled over that distinction between crows and other birds at great length, but satisfactory answers are rarely forthcoming. After all, the English language has produced many mysteries, but why crows move in murders and other animals move in far less value-charged terms must be one of the most compelling.
Among the other birds in the air appears a dark shape on the horizon, rapidly approaching the lake. The dark shape resolves itself as being two distinct enemies; Treble, in jet form, and Bass riding on top of it. He flies high, moving out of the south at top speed, then drops down low to the ground, crusing just a few meters above it. Buildings are rattled by his passing, the flames issuing from beneath Treble sufficient to scare off any gawkers. His red eyes gleam with anticipation, hoping his eternal enemy will be present ... but knowing such an arrival is unlikely. For now.
His shadow draws long across the false lights of the area, passing over man and beast alike. His profile brings despair and fear; he is the Force Commander Bass, the military leader of the ruling army of Africa.
And his coming /does/ bring murder.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Air Man transmits, "I am still in Skull-Haven. Am I needed?"
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Excellent. Hold your attack Bass. Pharaoh Man will engage first, then you will move in."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Metal Man transmits, "Eh? King you sound like Knight Man..."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Remain where you are for now Air Man. We may need you later."
However, before Bass can intercede upon the UN outing, a circle of flames erupts around the civilians, and a loud cackle can be heard. From the brush steps...Flame Stag? But, how did /he/ get here? Either way, the Maverick looks like he's out for trouble, blood, or both...
[Radio: (B) Secure] Air Man transmits, "Affirmative, Master."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Metal Man transmits, "Wily where do you need me sir?"
And where one Maverick goes, others follow. No sooner does Flame Stag announce his appearance than the striped jungle cat folows his lead ... at a respectable distance from the flames anyway; Neon Tiger rises to her full height on the other side of the circle and grins, baring long, sharp teeth. Sometimes there was no rhyme or reason to Maverick assaults. Sometimes it's just for the slaughter of the flesh creatures. And there's at least one in this developing chaos, oh yes.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Air Man transmits, "Perhaps all available Betas shall gather in one central location."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "With no holoemitter, go with Bass."
From another direction comes another threat. A streak of navy blue and gold in the distant sky is a very familiar Maverick... The Lord of the Sky, the Lone Eagle of the Mavericks. It is Storm Eagle, and he will /not/ help you. The Maverick, as it would seem, zooms in at the same time as Neon Tiger and Flame Stag, covering the aerial aspect of their assault.
Bridgit Cascio
Nearing 45 years of age, this particular female human stands a proud if not short 5'5". The diminuitive woman shows her age gracefully, gray mingled in the coppery hair at the temples and bangs. Small wrinkles at the sides of her emerald green eyes reflect years of squinting into too many searchlights and working too many late patrols. Freckles dot across her cheekbones and nose, which carries a pair of wire-rimmed glasses on them easily. Her hands are never still, and tend to have something in them -- coffee cup, wrench, or her rifle. Her face is set in a determined near-scowl which appears to be permanent.
It's obvious this woman doesn't get a lot of sun. Her pale legs stand out more against the khaki shorts that come down to her knees, assorted pockets sewn onto them. The scary part is, they've got things in them. She wears a hunter-green tanktop, baring her pale, freckled shoulders to the sun. On her feet are grey socks and a pair of sturdy brown hiking boots. Maybe not the best attire for a summer vacation in a tropical paradise, but then again, she never goes out much.
Meet Bridgit Cascio, UN Tank Corps officer and hotheaded mechanic.
Carrying:
Einstein
Elias Kiritsu
Standing before you is a tall asian looking man, clad in something that might seem odd. He wears a pair of long pants, and a simple grey T-Shirt. Over that is a light poncho, that looks like it might just be heavy enough to protect against the sun. Along with that is a broad brimmed hat, reminiscent of Indiana Jones'. And to the very keen observer, you might notice a long stick slung over his back, and a shield type thing attached to his left arm. A careful look at his face reveals tannedish skin, blue eyes, and a rather large scar across his cheek. What a freak.
Bluegrass has arrived.
Bluegrass
Standing at 6 feet tall, this is the air guardian Musica, Bluegrass! Her white armor is accented with hints of silver and blue, a well defined reploid, except for the lack of a face that can have expressions. Instead, it is a straight white shield shape with a blue visor that mirrors the face of those that look into it back at them, and does not allow her eyes to be seen.
Abernathy
An altogether unremarkable young African man, with the singular except he's albino--with the white skin, green eyes, and pale blond hair of that phenotype. He's wearing a simple, if beaten, duster coat over a lightweight t-shirt and pants, and carrying a battered and beaten messenger's bag. His manner, too, is completely unremarkable--the tired, drawn attitude of most African citizens, even under the 'prosperity' of Wily's rule.
Bluegrass demerges.
Serena Gilbert has arrived.
Bluegrass has left.
Far back from the incoming 'Mavericks' the Masters and the civilians themselves, the Wilysaucer skulks about. Dr. Wily himself sits within at the controls watching his sensors as he monitors the situation from afar. He would be in the Mecha, but he's still trying to get over that heart attack. So instead, he contents himself to sit back and watch. Bass is there anyways....
[Radio: (B) Secure] Metal Man transmits, "Aye, father. Bass I will be joining you with in a moment."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Bass transmits, "/Goody/."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Serenade transmits, "Ooh, enthusiasm."
Gale Sorcerer feels just like Elias for some reason. The heat and having to wait for the others is already annoying enough. And having those birds making all that noise over them doesn't help. "Indeed, I feel uncomfortable too." He tells to Elias. Looking back at his other too companions, he pushes his glasses towards his face. "Prepare your fake IDs. You never know what can you find in a land ruled by Wily". And then, well, everything goes to hell. The group of tourists is surrounded by Bass himself, and... Mavericks? Gale was sure that the Maverick/Masters relationships were totally kaputt at the moment. What in blazes does this mean? Stepping back, he eyes Bridgit and Abernathy, then he gives Elias a scared glare. "Now, this definitely IS NOT good..." The mission has already gone to hell. "Let us get out of here as fast as possible..."
"Oh, smooth move," Bridgit snorts. "You're acting like a scared rabbit - you're guilty as hell already. You make me sick." The woman sneers, lip curling in distaste, before turning away from Gale and stalking to another part of the plaze, muttering softly into the tiny ear-radio she has.
Serena Gilbert transforms to Disguised.
Bridgit Cascio is brought up short by flame. Flame bad. "Great. Great. We're goin' to Hell," she mutters, waiting inside the circle as close as she can before her armhairs start to roast. Then she takes a step back and waits.
Bass races in, circling around the general area the `tourists' have occupied. He hangs onto Treble with his non-Buster hand to stabilize himself in the hard turns, eyes tracking across the new `interlopers'.
Bass grouses, looking at the `Mavericks' coldly. Then he looks to the rest of his forces to see what they're going to do about it.
Maybe the `tourists' haven't been noticed for the `Maverick' interference?
King is riding a hovering mechquine, flying on hoverjets in support of Bass?! He has his axe in hand and his shield out, and is looking rather irritable. His stern gaze follows Bass, not really taking in anyone else. And then he notices 'Storm Eagle', and he points his massive axe squarely at the Maverick. "The Flying One is MINE!" He urges the flying horse skyward, charging towards Storm Eagle. "Thou shalt not threaten these lands, Maverick!"
THe nice old lady stands still. o.o Hey, she's just an old streetrat-type person. JUst so her...
And the slightly muffed "beeping" coming under her rags. It's just a cellphone she has stolen. Yup.
"Well, that's torn it." This from Abernathy just as the birds veer and the sound of engines can be heard over the horizon; the sudden appearance of the 'Mavericks' only serves to hammer his point home. He glances down from the sky, whistling softly on spotting the ring of flames. "...And somehow, this only seems to weaken their offended innocence argument," he murmurs under his breath...and calmly folds his arms across his chest, paying Gale--and Bridgit--absolutely no heed as he watches 'Neon Tiger' rear up over his side of the circle.
Elias Kiritsu grimaces. "WHo's genius idea was this..." He mutters, looking for something to put out the fire with, not hearing the beeping. Or ignoring it.
Metal Man follows in after Bass and Trebble doing his best to keep up with them for the moment. oO(Fools they will never see it comming MWAHAHAHA) He checks his systems one last time and is set for what will come next.
Flame Stag looks upwards slightly at the incoming Robot Masters, " Deal with them..." the deer snaps to his fellows, before looking to the civilians. " I want to have some fun with the humans..." He takes a step forwards, and points his index finger at a random civilian, and begins to go from person to person, " Eenie....meenie....minie...moe..." The finger lands on Bridgit Cascio. " Be a good girl now, and bow to your Maverick Master...." Invisible tendrils of gravitational force extend from what is, in truth, Pharaoh Man's hand as it points at the UN Officer in disguise. He awaits patiently, hoping for that wonderful sound of cracking ribs...
Pharaoh Man strikes Bridgit Cascio with his Compelling Grasp attack.
'Storm Eagle' wheels back in the air, ending his stoop in a glorious splash of color from the flaring of his wings. The Maverick Aerial turns its gaze to King upon his 'pegasus', and answers in kind, yelling out in a booming sort of voice. Anyone familiar with Storm Eagle might note that it sounds just a little bit off... "You challenge me? So be it, Elite!" The 'Maverick' gives a mighty flap of his 'wings' and surges towards King, determined. Apparently the call of a challenge is more compelling than the chance to maul innocents. And besides. It's King. He doesn't want his underlings to get pounded too badly, does he?
Dr. Wily smiles cruelly in the saucer, watching it all unfold. The radio carries chatter among the Masters to him, and he notes that all is going according to plan. Now if only it will stay that way. Tapping at the controls, Wily moves the saucer a bit closer, leaning forwards in his chair unconsciously as he does so.
Neon Tiger's bulb-tipped tail thrashes briefly in a metallic sweep, a bit of light glittering in the small sphere, fingers twitching once. Though she did not truly feel the murderous urge that drove Mavericks to kill, the cat could certainly imitate it, and ducks her head lightly to study Abernathy when he watches her, grin growing to fearsome proportions as one taloned hand rises and beckons slightly. "What a pretty little thing you are," hisses the Tigress with clear malevolence. "Come here and let me look at you closer.." No compelling from the brightly colored feline, though by her stance, should he not obey she'd simply pounce on him anyway. "I do so like you flesh creatures when you're unusual colors.."
The old lady among the humans stiffens just slightly as Bridget is grabbed. Underneath the folds of her ragged clothing, a small bot beeps in a concerned tone. Well. Ayla certainly given the assistbots some sort of human emotions. The lady merely stares.
Aw crap. Unseen gravity forces again. Bridgit hates gravity - she blames this on Gravity Beetle. As Pharaoh's gravitational powers wrap around her torso, all she can do is make one comment. "Not again," she grunts as the first pressure against her sides begins to turn from slightly uncomfortable to all-out painful. The woman lets out a croaked cry of surprise as her body's tightened against her will, and she flails her arms as if trying to smack away the invisible grasp she's caught in. "Can't you <wheeze> jerks use another <gasp> trick?"
The `Mavericks' are attacking African citizens. This just will not do.
Bass leaps off of Treble, who soars off into the distance for the time being. He rockets down to the Earth, landing on his feet with a resounding thud; he dash-jets towards `Flame Stag', Buster-cannon producing a long greenish energy blade; a particularly malevolent gleam comes to his glowing red pupils. As he attacks, he barks out an order to Metal Man:
"Metal Man! Protect the civilians!"
Bass strikes Pharaoh Man with his Forteblade attack.
King sweeps towards 'Storm Eagle', axe raised, and bellows out a war cry. "Maverick, thou shalt not threaten our citizens!" He sweeps his axe at Storm Eagle, but it passes scant inches over the head of the Eagle. "Have at thee!"
Flame Stag sneers at Bridgit, " But its so much fun to watch you squirm, meat-sack..." The Maverick moves to tighten his 'grasp' when Bass obliges him with a slash to the shoulder, forcing the 'reploid' to take a few steps back, grimacing. " Well, Bass...I guess its time you got what was coming to you..." In more was then one, as is the opinion of 'Flame Stag'. Waving his hands widely, a burst of superheated air shimmers towards Bass......
Pharaoh Man misses Bass with his Heat Wave attack.
"Now what in blazes is going on here?" Gale gives Elias another desperate look when he watches... Bass shoot Flame Stag? Well, why are all those people here doesn't make much sense for the intel at the moment, but it's better than facing all the trouble themselves. "Let's try moving towards somewhere safe... Help me take Bridgit out of here" He tells to both Abernathy and Elias
Bass pays no mind to Bridgit when she drops out of `Flame Stag's grip, continuing his brutal advance on the `Maverick'. Bass doesn't seem to like Flame Stag very much.
He says nothing back to `Flame Stag' at his barbs, the Forteblade disintegrating in a green haze of sparks. The moment the pulse of heat races at him, he jumps up and over them in a graceful, fluid movement, landing on the other side of `Flame Stag' without difficulty.
The movements are instantaneous, too fast for the human eye to track. The Forteblade starts to evaporate in an haze of greenish sparks; in that same instant, Bass throws himself into a roundhouse kick faster than the speed of sound, causing a small sonic boom; the sparks swirl around him in an evanscent haze, very pretty at that.
The Force Commander seems to be on the showy side today.
Bass strikes Pharaoh Man with his Flash Kick attack.
With a weather eye for what's going on around the circle, Abby turns his attention to the present matter of 'Neon Tiger'. Noting her disposition--and perhaps keeping an ear open for radio communication of what's going on elsewhere--he waves Gale and Elias off without a word and takes a step toward the tiger. "Really?" he asks, tone particularly ingenous. "I wasn't aware you Mavericks took the time to recognize the differences before just killing us--too much thinking, you know." Keep an eye on his hands, 'Tiger'. This diplomat isn't what he seems.
Bridgit Cascio falls to her knees from the gravity grip of 'Flame Stag' with a grateful wheeze of breath, and sucks in lungfuls of air into her pained torso. She retches a few times as her body expands back out to its original size, and stares hellfire at the burning 'stag'. "This is pretty *(&#ed up right here," she gasps, shaking her head slightly before scrabbling up to her feet, hand scrabbling for her pistol only to find it not there. She came unarmed. "Aw f--" She cuts herself off as Bass charges across her field of vision in a black blur. "...damn."
'Storm Eagle' meanwhile swoops toward King at warp-speed..well, not really, but you get the general idea: really, really fast. The Lord of the Sky swoops at King, bringing his legs up in an attempt to rake his claws across King's form.
Flame Stag raises his arms and crosses them to absorb the brunt of the attack, despite his attempts the loud crunch of broken armor plating can be heard upon impact. Breaking away from his attempt to block, the Maverick grabs a big blue mailbox, and rips it from the ground, before flinging it at Bass, " Express Delivery..."
Pharaoh Man misses Bass with his Generic Ranged attack.
The little old lady just hangs back for a bit, then the order comes through. The little old lady stops and speaks up -- With a digitializig effect -- "Defence Changer -- Disguise Mode Offline."
...And as she puts the 'silent' code that will trigger the transformation... the 'old lady' hopes that the Mavericks and the Robot Masters hopes that they consider the 'old lady' an reploid as white light surrounds her...
Serena Gilbert initiates a gestalt merge.
Bluegrass has arrived.
Serena Gilbert has left.
King brings his reflect system offline.
King puts his guard up.
King puts his guard down.
Elias Kiritsu mutters. "Right. Something is officially ^&$ed up here." He reaches for his pistol under his poncho, but doesn't pull it out yet. He then glares at bridgit, not saying anything more, until he sees bluegrass. "Here comes the cavalry."
King successfully deflects an attack randomly.
You miss King with your Generic Melee attack.
The Force Commander is a flawless engine of death; he lands the kick, then rides the momentum in the same movement to evade the thrown mailbox. He baseball-slides across the dirt for a meter, hand-springing back up into the air; he lands on his feet just about a meter away from Bluegrass, his back to her. The white light flashes across his peripheral vision, but he doesn't respond to it.
He has bigger fish to fry. Or rather, a little fish that thinks it is much larger than it really is.
Bass charges back at `Flame Stag', lunging in hard and fast at him. He swings his cannon-arm at `Flame Stag's neck -- more than likely Pharaoh Man's head -- and attempts to leave a significant dent in the `Maverick's armor.
Bass misses Pharaoh Man with his Smash attack.
King swings his shield back, and deflects the attempt to claw from the Stormy One. "Prithee, Maverick," he spits out, venom plain in his voice, "Apply some effort to it. Now, have at thee!" He lashes out with the shield in an attempt to knock 'Storm Eagle' winding.
King strikes you with a minor hit from his Punch for 6 units of damage.
Metal Man nods to Bass' orders and says, "Understood Force Commander." Ah mavericks Metal Man's fave targets for abuse after all the rest of the world wants them all dead so no one cares what sorts of evils he can do to them. Anyhow the Target of the day is Neon Tiger. The blade slinging master sees the femme maverick going after a civlian and says, "Hey ya Mecha furry reject! Try dealing with a real warrior." He slings a few gears at the Maverick to get her attention.
Metal Man misses Serenade with his Gears attack.
Bluegrass stands where the old lady once was... and immediately rushes to get Bridget. "Regroup, Sugah!" And she isn't telling that to the Mavs or the Masters...
Dr. Wily has by now moved close enough to be able to see without the aid of his onboard sensors. He isn't worried about being spotted, this is HIS continent after all. Still, he hangs back a bit to avoid any possibility of catching a stray shot or other freak accident. "The fools. They suspect nothing. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Ah, well usually it's not what's on the outside that counts," purrs the tiger. From each hand crackles three energy blades, much like a certain X-Man's claws. "But on the inside. And you're all the same on the inside. Red. Bloody." Neon crouches slightly in preperation of her own attack, rounded ears pricking forward when Metal Man flings .. gears at her, swatting them aside easily with an annoyed hiss. "You, you pathetic excuse for a machine, are no challenge for me. Go away." And with that, she attacks Abernathy anyway, in a rather catlike pounce, sabered claws moving to pin the albino fleshy to the ground.
Flame Stag is ready this time, and ducks to one side. " Have to try harder, Bass...." he whispers, a bit darker than normal for the reploid. His eyes dart at the Musica Gestalt, before he attempts to 'headbutt' Bass...
Pharaoh Man strikes Bass with his Generic Melee attack.
Serenade strikes Abernathy with her Generic Melee attack.
Storm Eagle takes the hit to the jaw, head whipping back. 'Storm' reels back, shaking his head... "I think, Master, that you yourself could put more effort to it... Now. Our battle is not with you, but the humans below! What do you care for them? Are they but /pets/?" Storm booms at King before gaining some distance and flapping mightily, stirring up great winds in an attempt to blow King off of his horse...
You strike King with a glancing hit from your Wind Jets attack.
Bridgit Cascio is at least standing upright as Bluegrass charges for her. "We gotta get the hell outta here!" she exclaims. "We gotta get out and regroup! *(&&*, what I wouldn't give t'have the Defiant here.."
. o O ( Oh, you did NOT just say that, you little ... ) O o .
Bass swings his Buster down, missing the mark by precious inches; he can't quite scout what is `Flame Stag' and what is Pharaoh Man with precision, though he knows full well he has to aim for the core to do any damage.
Being so close to `Flame Stag', the headbutt hits him cleanly on the helmet, denting in just below his helmet's energy jewel. It doesn't do much damage, but it /hurts/.
And that gets Bass' attention. As his head begins to snap back from the blow, he throws it forward, and /hard/, into `Flame Stag's chest, the Neo Buster already starting to whine with a charge...
Bass strikes Pharaoh Man with his Headbutt attack.
"How /observant/ of you to no--" Anything else Abby would've said is cut off as he's pounced by the much larger Maverick, sprawling on his back--but he's apparently by no means surprised, despite the wince of pain that flicks across his face. "--Hands OFF, kitty!" comes the snarl, and 'Neon Tiger' should find herself with an archaic pistol pointed at her chest. And, should the shot connect, a bullet embedded in her internals somewhere.
Abernathy strikes Serenade with his Socom - Standard Munitions attack.
King has to struggle momentarily with the gusts of wind that seek to blow him off of Caesura II, but then quickly rights himself. "Methinks, Maverick, thou dost poison the air with your drasty words enough! Defend thyself if thou canst!" A jewel glows in his crown, and a bolt of energy lashes out at Storm Eagle.
Serenade
It's NOT serenade! No! No it isn't. Instead, it's the Maverick kitty, Neon Tiger. No, seriously.
Metal Man says, "So you must hunt Civilans please... I thought you viral infested fools had more courage than that!" Well Metal will just have to get her attention then as a large nasty looking saw blade appears in his hands and is soon air born at the Glowing Maverick kitty! "TIME TO SCREAM AND BLEED YOU INFERIOR MAVERICK!!!"
King strikes you with a minor hit from his Refraction Minibeam for 6 units of damage.
Metal Man strikes Serenade with his Sawblade attack.
Flame Stag is struck in his 'chest', and once more is forced to stumble backwards. " Well then. If you care so much for your wonderful humans...." the Maverick muses, hands enveloped in flames. " Try and keep them from roasting! " He waves the hands, and a sheet of flames, awfully similiar to a certain Master's signature attack in Power Fighters, is shot at Bass...and the civilians behind him...
Bluegrass sighs, "That's what Ah said, sugah." Seeing that Bridget is basically all right for now, she dashes off to Alby is... (Don't worry, sugah! Ah'm Comin'!)Oo.
And indeed Abernathy's attack does strike home, punching through her chest armor and certainly hurting quite a bit as the feline immediately jerks away from the gun weilding fleshie- only to be broadsided by Metal Man's attack. -That- draws a sharp snarl of anger from Neon, who immediately twists around, seizing a convenient manhole cover and flinging it headlong at the Robot Master. "Go play with your toys somewhere else, whelp!"
Serenade misses Metal Man with her Twisted Metal attack.
"Alright! Enough!" Gale nods to Elias. "We're getting out of here. Let's do some cover fire" The "old man" who stood in the cane draws a sarcastic smile under his moustache, before taking a crystal sphere out of his pocket and pointing it towards Storm Eagle. "Don't you know it's rude to bother aged people this way, you jerk?" Gale's eyes start shining as his holograms systems generate a black cube on the Maverick's head, making him go totally blind.
Gale Sorcerer projects a holographic image of Dark Polygon Spell.
Dark Polygon Spell has arrived.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Serenade transmits, "If they try to flee, Lord, should we pursue?"
Elias Kiritsu grins. "About time." He throws back his poncho, pulling out his pistol and shotgun, one in each hand. "I've had enough of holding back." He starts unleashing some cover fire, as he runs.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Yes. I want to know who they are."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Oh HELL."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "I think I know."
Bridgit Cascio simply bolts, half limping and bent over, for the nearest means of egress. She really, really wishes she was in the Defiant right now. "Teach all these sons of b*(&#es not to @#(* with my tank or the United *(&#(ing Nations," she grunts between steps, moving to dive into an alley.
Pharaoh Man strikes Gale Sorcerer with his Pharaoh Wave attack.
Pharaoh Man strikes Bass with his Pharaoh Wave attack.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Magnet Man transmits, "Get em boys and girls."
[Radio: (B) Secure] King transmits, "My Comrade...wouldst thou have me chastise him for interrupting our entertainment?"
How convenient. As 'Neon' twists around to deal with Metal, Abby scrambles to his feet, gun still trained on the 'Maverick'. His gaze--temporarily watery green--flickers from 'Neon' to Metal and back again, before he looks away, trying to ascertain the condition of the rest of the UN contingent. "So we're in full retreat, is it? Dandy," he mutters, turning to run after the retreating Bri. Hey, look, Bluegrass! Your princess is in another castle! Or beating feet as fast as he can from the scene of the fight.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Serenade transmits, "Remind me later to shove Metal's blades up his keister sideways."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Uh, yeah...just not right now."
Bass takes the blast of flame at near point-blank range, the heat searing across his armor, leaving first and second degree burns on his face. It looks pretty painful.
Now he's mad.
The Force Commander advances on `Flame Stag' even before the flames fade, putting his Neo Buster directly into `Flame Stag's collarbone -- Pharaoh Man's face -- and discharging a shot directly at it. Forget not e-ringing him -- now Pharaoh Man needs to embrace sweet, sweet death.
Bass strikes Pharaoh Man with his Point Blank Neo Buster attack.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Give me half a tick...and I KNOW WHO THEY ARE."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Serenade transmits, "Hence the latter. -Who- then?"
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "It's the G*****N UN."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "I only know ONE guy who does stuff like this blinding thing, and he's a UN agent. *cursing*"
Bluegrass halts and upon seeing Abby (or Alby) into fall back/regroup mode, she too starts to run... then stops and STARES at Gale. (NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!)Oo.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Is it now? In that case, let them go. They are no real threat to us, and letting them escape may prove more useful than capture."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Serenade mutters.
Flame Stag goes flying, and quickly slams through the wall of a nearby building. The problem is, that hole isn't shaped like, or big enough to accommodate Flame Stag, yet he still went through. Either way, he comes to a shaky stand, muttering. " Very well..." Bringing the flat of his palm to face the Force Commander, the Maverick launches a blast of red hot plasma from it, as if bringing it from out of nowhere...
Pharaoh Man misses Bass with his Plasma Shot attack.
Serenade sends a radio transmission to Pharaoh Man.
Pharaoh Man receives a radio transmission.
Dr. Wily looks up suddenly in his saucer and then down at a monitor. An image of Gale Sorcerer is shown, and Wily taps, a button freezing it. Eyes narrowing, he stares at it. "UN hmmm? Well now...getting a little brave then." Laughter once more fills the saucer, as Wily pilots it smoothly around the edges of the battle.
Metal Man laughs as he back flips up and over the flying disk of doom. "Oh but you don't get it reploid. ALL YOUR KIND ARE but toys... that are broken too easily! DAGGER DRONES ATTACK!" There is a rumble as several of said drones rip out of the ground and head right for The kitty of the neon!
Metal Man strikes Serenade with his Explosive Drone attack.
The bolt of energy from King strikes 'Storm', and then...darkness. And then Tengu realizes... (THE UN. OH HELL. I'm gonna BEAT HIM...idiotidiotidiot...)o. He recognizes this effect from the last time he beat Gale... But you see, this is why it's nice to have eyes in the sky. Gyfu, the mecha-gyrfalcon leader of the Tengu Bird flock, swoops nearby, acting as Tengu's eyes via live video feed. Tengu's systems get to work, Tengu Blade working under the guise of the hologram...
For a moment, all is calm. But don't let that fool you...
A truly MASSIVE tornado begins to form from 'Storm's' vantage point, touching down and causing a swath of destruction wherever it goes... some call tornadoes the Finger of God... It sweeps down, seeking out everyone in the area below. It seeks, trying to envelope UNers and Masters alike in its vortex... "STORM TORNADO!" 'Storm' shouts. "Now I show you my power...accursed humans..."

Setting up a hologram requires concentration, you see. That's why Gale wasn't able to see the coming fire wave. Directly hit by it, the intel falls to the ground partially on fire, just like if he just had been shot with a big cannon. The holographic black box explodes into bits and the wig and the moustache fall to the ground on fire too, Gale's long dark hair falling over his shoulders once again. Trying to at least kneel, the mage turns his wind systems to full power and jumps into the air to float out of there.
You miss Gale Sorcerer with your Tornado Hold attack.
Bridgit Cascio leaps gracelessly into the alleyway as the huge blast of air comes roaring after her. She lands in a pile of refuse, which cushions her fall enough so that she only splutters profanity instead of groaning in pain. Flailing around, she tries to get her head above the garbage to see what's going on outside.
And now her prey is escaping. Neon Tiger snarls again, a sound full of anger and hatred as Abby attempts to sneak away, immediately rounding to pursue whether or not Bluegrass is defending the albino - only to get attacked by Metal Man again. And there's a bad thing about ticking off the already angry kitty even moreso, as the brightly colored Maverick spins around with a roar of anger, the winds that whip in whirlwind around her, digging her talons into the ground as the breeze sweeps by, then LEAPING for the blade-weilding Master, energy claws sweeping around in a vicious arc. "We'll see who's broken too easily.." The anger in her voice is ... entirely not pretended, either.
Serenade strikes Metal Man with her Thermal Cutter attack.
King takes shelter behind his shield, and drives Caesura down and away from the tornado. "Thy words display the weakness of thy thought, Maverick." He sweeps back up...behind 'Storm'. "Now, time to finish this, and thy foolish commentary!" He leaps from the back of the horse, and tries to shoulder butt 'Storm' as his arms lash out to grab hold of 'Storm Eagle.'
Bass doesn't /care/ if he's risked compromising the ruse. The rage that flows through his being does not know reason, does not know pity, knows nothing but the endless screaming in Bass' mind. His eyes glow a brighter red as he follows behind `Flame Stag's course, Buster already starting to prepare itself for a second charge --
The impact of the `Storm Tornado' is diffused the surroundings around `Flame Stag' and Bass -- the wind whips around him, making his skin sting even more, but causes no more damage to his personage. Perhaps the winds even help the plasma shot go wide; Bass needs only to make a quick dash-jet swerve to the side to let it go harmlessly past him through a nearby Joe.
The rage eggs Bass on as he closes on `Flame Stag', the Neo Buster coming back up for a second blast. The plasma shot rips at `Flame Stag' hard and fast, looking to blow a hole clean through him and finish the fight quickly.
Will luck favor `Flame Stag' today? Or is his doom already assured?
Bass strikes Pharaoh Man with his Neo Buster attack.
King misses you with his Shoulder Spike Tackle attack.
Elias Kiritsu is sent into the air by the wind attack. This just further affirms Elias's thoughts. And then, with one intercepted message. He'd say something, but he's too busy being sent all over the place.
Finish the fight? Foolish Bass! You underestimate Pharaoh Ma-er, Flame Stag! The Maverick holds his ground agianst the onslaught of wind, but is in turn forced to take the blow from the hybrid's Neo Buster in his torso. While a hole is not blown clean through him, parts do fly however....pieces of a machine very much NOT Flame Stag. Blinking, the reploid leaps backwards, " You fool..." He snaps, before turning tail to flee...
Bluegrass runs as far as she can... but then spies Tengu... (What th--)Oo.
And then... she is suddenly flung about as if she is in a giant dryer... "NOT GOOD!!" And the thing is... her wings are pinned so she can't easily escape.
Oh dear. o.o
Pharaoh Man retreats from the area swiftly, leaving him open to pursuit or parting shots from Tengu Man, King, Serenade, Bluegrass, Gale Sorcerer, and Metal Man.
Serenade strikes Pharaoh Man with her Grasp attack.

[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "*sounds of muttering* Pharoah Man, get back to base and see to some repairs. As for you Bass, control yourself or you'll find out exactly how Enker felt as a Met."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Bass snorts.
Abernathy avoids being brutally slain by the tornado. Score one for the little guy; unfortunate it wasn't actually the monstrous weather pattern it was masquerading as, and, instead the diplomat is pinned down by the 'hold' yards from actually escaping. A frustrated string of profanity, in more language than one, can be heard from the 'stunned' diplomat...should 'Neon' actually get free of curbstomping Metal, her 'target' would still be there waiting for her.
Gale Sorcerer turns off his holographic projection of Dark Polygon Spell.
Dark Polygon Spell has left.
Bass continues advancing on `Flame Stag', walking across the damaged ground like a conquering god. He raises his Buster again, aiming at the flank of `Flame Stag' -- and then slowly brings it down, seeing him get clear of the optimal range of the Buster. His point has been proven; he feels no more need to press the matter.
His face stings from the burns inflicted on him by the `Maverick'; his mood is similarly sour. He needs more blood to draw. Bass turns, then, and advances on the rest of the group -- particularly `Neon Tiger', who is the next closest. He yells at the fleeing humans on the way, voice cold and commanding:
"Run! Get clear of here! The Joes will cover you!"
Bluegrass gets battered around like a ping pong ball, and then... is hurled out of the wind storm and into a bunch of trees... knocking them down and keeping her pinned. x.x
A beaten and smoking Pharaoh Man blinks into existance next to Wily's Saucer, hovering quietly. He holds a disk out for his master in front of the window. Its amazing the item is still intact.
Metal Man gets gutted by the savage attack as the claws rip into his systems sending a spray of mechfluid all over the Maverick. Metal tears himself free while letting out a savage yell and staggers backwards from her. "We are eternal Maverick! You can never make us die! We fall only to rise again!" A twin pair of blades appear in his hands and tosses them one after the other at the big kitty of death!
Metal Man misses Serenade with his Twin Blades attack.
Serenade sends a radio transmission to Dr. Wily.
Dr. Wily receives a radio transmission from Serenade.
Gale Sorcerer raises his right hand towards the uncoming tornado just in time a counter-wind blast to be shot towards his gloved hand. He may be on fire, but the others have been knocked out by the tornado. And he hasn't got the cover of his hologram anymore either. Geez, quickly, he releases another hologram and quicly floats towards Elias. He tries to grab him and take him out of there. "Oh, no don't tell me that the others too..."
Dr. Wily growls as Bass blows a hole through Pharaoh. The Finhead is pushing it, and the Doctor is in no mood to have his plans ruined. After a few angry words into the radio, he looks back up and glares at Bass as though the Force Commander can see his gaze from this distance. Things are getting confusing, and Wily is a bit worried about the outcome of all this.
With a hiss, the saucer opens, light sliding over Wily. He looks around, then peers at Pharaoh in concern. The disk is taken and quickly stashed in a pocket. "Systems report, Pharaoh."
Bridgit Cascio scrabbles out of her trash heap with a few solid curses before getting free, and hurrying for Abernathy. "The alley! Get for the alley, I'll get Bluegrass!" she shouts before ... seizing hold of the diplomat and physically half-throwing, half-shoving him for cover - in the direction she just came from. Hopefully he'll find his feet. She spares Bass a momentary glance before looking over her shoulder, making sure Abernathy's at least mobile in some way.
The 'Storm Tornado', its job for the most part, finished, zooms around in the streets for a moment more, causing further random destruction to the city and even throwing a few innocents around. The Dark Polygon still envelopes 'Storm's' head, but it soon dissipates as its own caster becomes...preoccupied. 'Storm' has his vision restored just in time to see King flying at him. "Fool... you have no wings to fly. You are not of the sky, as I am... You are bound to the earth, now STAY THERE!" 'Storm' attempts to ram King, sending him even faster toward the ground, mentally urging the Elite's horse on to catch him... (I am gonna be in /so much/ trouble...)o. <Pansy...> (It was SO MUCH NICER when you were QUIET...)o. That voice in the back of Tengu's head begins to start back up just now, awaking the WilyDemon's own inner fears, perhaps making him miss his mark on King.
You strike King with a minor hit from your Ram attack.
You rebound off of King, taking 5 units of damage.

Fireworks Chaos Spell has arrived.
Dr. Wily sends a radio transmission to Serenade.
Serenade receives a radio transmission.
[OOC] Gale Sorcerer says, "holographic fireworks are all over the place now. Enjoy."
Serenade sends a radio transmission to Dr. Wily.
Dr. Wily receives a radio transmission.
Pharaoh Man simply watches the battle, but responds verbally almost immidiatly as Dr.Wily inquires. " Blink systems at 64 Percent. Structural Integrity, 35 Percent. Primary Systems 26 Percent. System Status Overall is steady at 19 Percent. I shall be fine. "
Bass looks back up at the distant form of Wily as he advances on Neon Tiger, the Greatest Creation meeting his maker's gaze flatly. The Force Commander is a free spirit; he does what he wants. His track record of success in the field speaks for itself. Regardless, on some level he vaguely likes the old man, and so decides /not/ to try and intentionally kill `Neon Tiger' or `Storm Eagle' today. But if his fun is spoiled, so will the fun of King and Metal Man.
He gets within a few meters of Neon Tiger, looking past `him' for a moment towards the fleeing humans. He radios for the Joes to keep an eye on their retreat, then barks out at the `Mavericks'.
"You are outnumbered and outgunned! You will retreat, NOW, or I will destroy all of you!"
King sure enough is slammed into by BIIIIIIIIRD MAN! There's an audible 'OOOF!' as the impact drives King to the side, but he reaches out and grabs hold of 'Storm Eagle' even as the flying one slams into him. King bellows, "Prithee...GET THEE HENCE! CAESURA! COME TO ME!" The flying mechahorse obediently flies to King's aid, and catches him just as King tries to hurl 'Storm Eagle' at the same building 'Flame Stag' just flew through. o O(This might help to cover any other errors that idiot Bass has caused.)
King strikes you with a minor hit from his Throw for 7 units of damage.
Dr. Wily snorts. "Nineteen percent. I do wish he could learn to control himself." He appears to be just a bit irritated with Bass. Looking back to the battle, he eyes the fireworks and then focuses on Bass, wondering what the Force Commander is going to do now.
Neon Tiger crouches as Metal Man staggers away, tail lashing behind her in feline rage. Sometimes role-play can be a bad thing, and the cat is certainly angry and agitated. However when Bass speaks, the tigress' head comes around to fix -him- with that baleful stare, metal lips rising from sharp tusk-like fangs. And that bulbed tail flips around, flickering with energy. "Watch the birdy," she rasps angrily, the flicker of light pulsing once in a brilliant flash of light rapidly focusing into a narrow beam of light aimed at the Force Commander. She'd retreat soon enough. Make sure that 'Storm' is still able to escape.
Serenade misses Bass with her Delirium Dream attack.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Beta CO Metal Man transmits, "Bass do you want me to leave Neon Tiger to you sir?"
Caught and thrown free of the grip of the Tornado Hold, Abby has--really, no time to correct himself before stumbling face-first into a wall with a particularly amusing *thump*. Another string of profanity follows this less-than-graceful maneuver, before the diplomat shakes off the momentary stunning effect of wall plus face, adjusts his glasses, and blinks once. "...Damn."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Guts Man transmits, "Sell the tiger bones to the Chinese as an aphrodisiac."
Pharaoh Man gives a slow nod of agreement, and looks down to 'Neon Tiger'. " Hopefully, he will not damage the emitters. The mission thus far is perfectly capable of succeeding, should proper precautions be taken..."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Bass transmits, "Yes. Escort the civilians to safety. The ... /Maverick/ ... is mine."
Elias Kiritsu suddenly hits the ground from the Tornado Blast. "Argh..." He gets up, and quickly looks at the joes and shouts something. "Hey, those Joes over there...They're meant to protect us from your own troops!? Like Serenade Tiger over there?" Well, Elias' ability to intercept important messages has finally come in handy. Now it's just a matter of not ending up dead.
Bridgit Cascio has taken care of Abernathy. Terrific! Now for the Musica. "I thought they were s'posed t'save us," she grumbles as she lopes her way along, looking around cautiously at the weaponry being flung around. She eventually comes to a halt near the Musica, and hunkers down to try and haul out Bluegrass's aft from the trees. "C'mon, girl, gimme a hand, will ya?" she grunts between tugs and shoves of logs and the 'Reploid'.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Serenade purrs. Distinctly. "We all know how problematic *Mavericks* can be."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Pharaoh Man transmits, "Quickly, that meddling man must be dealt with....something about him thus far angers me...as if he stole something that belonged to me..."
Bluegrass slowly moves a hand, but that's about all she can do. Having Six Trees pinning you... is just this side of annoying. (Ah wish Ah had the Opera hardsuit... Ah'll be free instead of waiting...)Oo.
[OOC] Bass says, "Elias. Welcome to `Let's Be Bass' Prisoner', the game in which I have Treble maul you to near-death then hold you on Asteroid B for several days of repeated beatings."
[OOC] King oooos.

[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Beta CO Metal Man transmits, "Yes sir."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Delusions of Grandeur, Pharaoh Man transmits, "Go feed your Sea Monkeys, Guts Man."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Guts Man transmits, "Make me twerp."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Delusions of Grandeur, Pharaoh Man transmits, "In due time."
Storm-Tengu is grabbed as he slams into King, a half-sigh inwardly escaping from Tengu... (Good... I don't wanna get punished any more for this...)o. 'Storm' hurtles into a building, armor cracking in reality... 'Storm' grits his beak and whispers something to himself.
Suddenly a wild shriek splits the air, the keening cry of a hawk, perhaps... One of those rotund black birds surges toward King in its own little attack formation. <<Go.>> So it's not one of Storm's, but at the distance, it'll look like it...right?
You strike King with a glancing hit from your Generic Ranged attack.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Guts Man transmits, "More like in never time you wuss."
Bass manages to evade the energy pulse, gamma correction saving him from the worst of the pain and suffering he could have been hit with. His keen senses, though, pick up a potential flaw in the plan. He transmits to Treble on his private frequency:
^^ "Treble. Ball-ball." ^^
Treble is there, racing at Elias. Appearing from seemingly nowhere at his Master's command, the mecha-wolf races at Elias, lunging at his groin in the most horrific attack known to Treble ... and we all know what that is.
Bass, meanwhile, looks back to `Neon'. She's annoying him now. He yells, his body enveloped in green plasma-flame in a sudden show of pyrotechnics -- and he rockets at `Neon', looking to drive her away from the civilians ... and out of sight.
Treble has arrived.
Bass drops Treble.
Bass strikes Serenade with his Comet Dash attack.
Gale Sorcerer can barely float holding Elias with both hands. Man, and he thought Midi was heavy the time he had to carry him the same way. Anyway, he wasn't designed for this kind of things. He just leaves him near Abernathy and quickly tries to find Bridgit and Bluegrass, hoping he can give a hand.
Bridgit Cascio shoves and heaves and moves and probably strains something most unpleasantly, given the cry of surprise that comes from her as she stumbles. However, the woman is so full of adrenaline that she manages to get up from the ground and finally seize the mostly-free Bluegrass. "Help yerself, girl, because I'm going to fall down real soon otherwise!"
Abernathy gives himself a thorough shaking, glancing back over his shoulder to watch the confrontation ... slowly fall apart. Not with a bang, but a whimper, indeed. The slightest smirk crosses his face as Treble--goes after Elias where it hurts, and then--he sidles down the alley Bri so handily threw him toward, already intending to escape. Self-preservation, first, after all.
<Proc came to fix Treble.>
King grunts as the bird slams into his chest, and keeps his grip on Caesura's bridle as he turns and grabs the bird in one hand. "Thy hunting fowl offends me, Storm Eagle..." He crushes the bird in his hand, until it cannot be recognized. "Now....die!" He turns towards the building he sent 'Storm Eagle' into, and unleashes a blast from the x-shaped armor plating on his chest.
[Radio: (F) Public] Guts Man transmits, "We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner. But we would eat Kraft Dinner, and buy really expensive ketchup... dijon ketchup!"
King misses you with his X-beam attack.
King gestures, and dispatches one of his Royal Mettools. The Hat wanders off, and returns with a tray bearing upon it a single royal cookie as your reward for excellent RP.
With Bridget's help, the Guard of White manages to get the other trees off her. "Thanks, Sugah." She looks around and WINCES as she sees Elias and Treble. "Ah see one person who's gonna hafta adopt a child soon instead of havin' one..."
Treble barks.
Metal Man breaks off from his fight with Neo Tiger and starts to help get the various civilains out of the danger zone while Bass deals with the Mavericks. oO(Looks like her fun is over heh heh heh)
There's something distracting about watching Treble really get a grip on the situation- it draws a sympathetic wince from the Holo-Kitty. That HAD to hurt. Of course it distracts as well- and not a moment later she's slammed into by Bass, driving the breath right out of her coolant systems in a sharp spike of pain and a gasping wheeze. And while it might indeed drive her away in much pain.. she's aparently nimble enough to very deliberately risk life and limb for her own amusement, promptly wrapping her limbs around her attacker, the plasma burns ignored. If he was irritated at her before..
"Why Bass, I didn't think you cared." Sure, it's a pained wheeze, but still...
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Theta Squad CO Sword Man transmits heavy, ragged breathing, before he speaks up. "The Shadow Hunter known as Zayin has fallen."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Beta CO Metal Man transmits, "Nice jon Sword."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Beta CO Metal Man transmits, "Take the punks weapon he ain't worthy of it."
Elias Kiritsu tries to jump back from Treble..but is not quite fast enough. There are no words that can explain this. Just think of pain in it's purest, most absolute form. "GYAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBL!" Some how, by some freak chance, he manages to fire off both guns at Treble's head, and doesn't pass out. Poor, Poor bastard.
Bridgit Cascio is absolutely running on pure adrenaline. It's better than coffee, it's better than crack, and about as addictive as speed. The woman yanks at the Musica, seemingly intent on getting her out, and stares at Elias and Treble for a moment. "Ya know, if the guy weren't tryin' t'abandon us earlier, I'd think about goin' and savin' his sorry arse," she muses in an amused tone.
<<I'm...sorry...forgive me,>> 'Storm' tightbeams to the little bird, now an unrecognizeable scrap... They may be gumbies, but they're HIS. They're TENGU's, and he does have an attachment to them. /Especially/ their white leader, which is why Gyfu is still hanging back in the sky, monitoring the events below for his master. 'Storm' makes no more move now against King other than moving out of the way of the X-beam. "King! As I said before I have no quarrel with you!" Tengu fights the urge to drop the act and say, 'Screw it! Nobody can hear us!' But no. Instead, he continues. "I must attend to my fellows, you see... Do not worry about your little humans... Those who have fallen will be replaced just as quickly... Humans are the scum of the earth!" Storm backs away, turning to fly closer to the ground now. "Farewell, Elite. It has been my pleasure!" Storm-Tengu booms, turning away to go find 'Neon Tiger' and 'Flame Stag'.
Tengu Man retreats from the area swiftly, outdistancing all pursuit and parting shots.
"Thing cannot certainly go any worse than this" Holding his crystal sphere, Gale just curses loudly. After a clear "I HATE YOU ALL!!!", the mage kicks Treble like a soccerball, and then he raises his right hand, the one which holds the sphere, dismissing the fireworks and creating his crystal mist on both Masters and Mavericks, Treble included. Enveloping them with the mist is part number 1, then it'll come the holo-negation.
Bluegrass just nods in a sagely sorta way, "He kinda deserves it." She pauses, "...Ah wonder if Treble does jobs? Ah got a couple of ex-boyfriends...who REALLY no longer need their... 'equipment' if ya'll know what Ah mean..." She states as she is dragged along. Yes, Bri is either that strong or that hyper. o.o
Gale Sorcerer turns off his holographic projection of Fireworks Chaos Spell.

[OOC] Tengu Man says, "Gale."
[OOC] Tengu Man says, "RUN."
Guts Man arrives from the Underneath Northeast Africa.
Guts Man has arrived.
[OOC] Serenade giggle. :}
[OOC] Pharaoh Man says, "Don't bother. You're already dead Gale."
Treble snarls, his armored skull easily able to take the sidearm shots. The mecha-wolf's jaws actually close /tighter/ around the effects area when damage starts being detected on its head, lifting up its paws and slashing at the muscles of his legs to try to bring him down for good. Shooting the wolf is only going to piss it off more.
Bass, meanwhile, drives `Neon Tiger' out of visual range of the civilans, then is grappled. The flames go out, but he continues charging forward, driving `Neon Tiger' into a building -- through a huge window, thus taking her out of harm's way. After a fashion.
Bass gets a damage report from Treble about the blows to the head...and the UN person kicking him. The Force Commander shoves Serenade off of him roughly, then storms back out of the building; energy jewels going from blue to red dangerously fast.
Uh-oh.
Pharaoh Man snickers audibly as he watches...
Bass enters the Anger Zone.
King brings Caesura around to land right near the building, and dismounts, watching as 'Storm Eagle' departs. "Next time, Storm Eagle, We will finish thee!" He also makes a mental note to compliment Tengu Man on his composure in this task. He looks back at Bass, and frowns. "Prithee, Bass, methinks the threat to the humans is past." Then Gale kicks up his mist, and King turns to look for the source of it. "This darksome trickery is beginning to irritate us."
[OOC] Bridgit Cascio says, "Payback tastes like death."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Bass snarls. "The b*&$^ kicked my dog. They're all going down now."
Abernathy ran off a while ago, right? Self-preservation, right? After all, it's the best thing in the situation--get away from the Masters and the false 'Mavericks' before they had the opportunity to smash him like the completely pulpable fleshy he was. Which, to some degree, is what he did--along with a few other things that most considered strictly out of the question for a UN diplomat. Stealing a ride, for example--which is why, the instant the mist arrives, so does Abby, behind the wheel of a stolen civilian jeep, one window smashed in and his trusty pistol lying on the passenger seat. The vehicle slides to a stop a mere foot from Bri and Serena, and the albino grins cockily at both of them. "Someone call for an evac?" he calls, over the various sounds of battle.
Elias Kiritsu screams in inhuman pain again. Kiritsu is not even gonna be able to run. "Help me..." might be heard someone in the cries of painful pain.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Air Man transmits, "Treble should have bitten off their legs by now."
Dr. Wily's head jerks up as he peers at the mist. His sensors give a read out on the hologram, and he blinks in panic. One hand slams down on the control panel activating the radio. The doctor shouts into the radio, giving orders frantically. He's withdrawing his troops, and if his plan is ruined that little sorcerer is gonna pay. Something interesting...maybe a midnight visit by Bass....
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Retreat. Everyone, get away from that mist NOW!"
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Snake Man transmits, "Who did?"
The Maverick kitty allows Bass to leave without a word, though that feline face is creased with a wide, wide smile. Sure, she was now incredibly hurting, but she was also highly amused. And giggles to herself as she struggles to stand, pain sizzling through her sytems. A brief radio conversation listened to and the Femme in disguise giggles even more, shaking her head- within the building and a short distance away, she's safe from that holo-killing fog.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Serenade transmits, "Already out of the way, courtesy of one ticked-off Bass. If any of those bloody UNers survive, I'll be surprised."
"C'mon c'mon c'mon, let's get the hell out," Bridgit repeats like a mantra as she herds Bluegrass for the jeep with Abernathy. Any other time, she'd be freaking out at the fact that he STOLE A CAR. Clambering in, wheezing and holding her sides in pain, she gasps, "Let's try and get that little dork Gale - one outta two ain't bad."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Aww, hell... Pulling out!"
King looks up as Wily commands, as if looking to the heavens for guidance. "As thou dost command, Lord Wily." He remounts Caesura, and takes off like a bat out of hades, quickly leaving the mist behind.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Metal Man transmits, "This seems fubared."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "I hate hate HATE that guy."
Pharaoh Man blinks, and concentrates momentarily, scepter glowing a deep azure, " Amun-Wily...my systems are too damaged to produce a sufficient sandstorm to deal with that mist..." he reports.
Procyon takes out a medical scanner and scans Treble.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Can I PLEASE beat him up again, Dad?"
Treble misses Procyon with his Bite attack.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Snake Man transmits, "Hmm... Now where'sss Gemini? I need to have a *word* with him."
Bluegrass just sighs. (Dammit. Ah just can't leave him behind.)Oo. She turns towards Elias' pained cries and rushes off to pick him up and get both of them to the jeep, "You don't deserve this help, Elias, so don't expect me ta carry you ta the hospital..."
Treble holds tenaciously to Elias when he gets kicked, though the snarl is quite audible...and that will be Gale's legacy if he isn't careful.
Bass' eyes glow with the flames of Hell itself, even as Treble continues to maul him. He walks through the rest of the battlefield, the glowing energy jewels casting his blackened features in a particularly sinister light. His Buster arm returns to a standard hand, both fists clenching, as he advances on Elias...him first, /then/ the `sorcerer'.
Once Bass gets within range of Elias, Treble breaks off from him, mandibles bloody. The sack-beating begins in earnest then, Bass starting to curb-stomp Elias into a bloody mess.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Gamma CO Gemini Man transmits, "What NOW?"
Bass strikes Elias Kiritsu with his Bodily Harm attack.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Snake Man transmits, "You'll sssee."
Abernathy drums his fingers on the steering wheel of the jeep, HISSING in frustration as Bluegrass runs off to save Elias. "DAMMIT, woman!" he shouts after her, forbearing from gunning the engine and RUNNING HER DOWN to catch her. "--Any executive commands here, Lady Cascio?" he snaps, abruptly, once she's settled. "I am /not/ going to try and find those two /bloody/ fools in this mist, and if SHE decides to go get herself killed for their sakes..." He trails off, eyes narrowing poisonously.
Procyon goes home.
Procyon has left.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Snake Man's voice grates harshly, "Ssso come sssee me at your sssoonessst opportunity."
'Storm Eagle' does not respond to King's closing comments as he zooms away toward his 'companions'... But then the mist begins to form in front of him, and the Doc calls out... But there's no way he can get out of the mist quite yet, even at this speed... He's too far in... 'Storm's' eyes widen briefly... (Uhoh...)o.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Guts Man transmits, "Can I see?"
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Gamma CO Gemini Man grumbles slightly. "See you where?"
Elias Kiritsu blinks. There's only one thing to do. Elias passes out. He's dead. Dead-dead-dead-dead-dead! Or at least looks it, with Bass beginning to official smackdown.
Bridgit Cascio sighs as fight and flight both mingle and start to seep from her system. Things start to ache and twinge painfully - things are going to *suck* in an hour. "Just keep it runnin'. Wait for her as long as we can, then if the *(&# hits the fan, peel outta here like a bat outta hell. I ain't gonna leave her behind unless we got no options." She groans, forcing her eyes to remain open and watch. She just wants to sleep. And an icepack. And some medical attention for her sides.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Guts Man transmits, "See saw?"
Annoyed like he hasn't been in months, the mage is almost creating smoke over his head today. Not being able to pay much attention to Treble and now Bass too, he just snaps his other hand's fingers. Many of his targets were already far enough and out of reach, but, luckily, there was still one left. And then, the sorcerer's hologram negation system turns on, and the mist around the poor Tengu Man goes holo-negative, affecting the Master and his disguise in an intense holographic field.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Snake Man transmits, "At home."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Gamma CO Gemini Man transmits, "We aren't going over there."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Guts Man transmits, "Why not?"
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Snake Man transmits, "Yesss you are. Or elssse I'll come visssit you. I feel the need to take Buffy for a 'walk'."
For a moment...for a split second... Storm Eagle is no more. In his place...
The WilyDemon. Tengu Man. Even a fleeting glimpse is somewhat recognizeable, Tengu being bright-colored in places and whatnot... The Bird's eyes go wide as he realizes the hologram is flickering on him... He briefly subvocalizes a radio message...
After that second of exposure the hologram's expertly designed systems kick back in, though they struggle at first, causing it to flicker for another moment. Either way, Tengu Man in his guise makes DOUBLE TIME, trying to get the heck outta that mist before his cover is blown... Soon he is safely above it, and Storm Eagle's features again reside upon him...
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "S***."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "I have a problem."
Bass beats on Elias like a red-headed stepchild. He beats on him like a government mule. He beats him like the Dream Team beat down any given African basketball team. He beats him like a Lutheran beats his wife after a three-day Jack Daniels bender. He beats him in a way that would almost be artistic were it not so horrific.
Limbs bend the wrong way, bones break, internal organs pulp, spinal segments pulverize, blood flies in all directions. Bass becomes absolutely sodden with the human's blood -- and keeps beating him, keeps hitting him, again and again and again, possessed by blind rage that anyone would DARE lay a hand on Treble.
And then his gaze turns to Gale Sorcerer.
Eyes glowing with crimson death, the Force Commander brings up his Neo Buster and forces a tremendous charge through it, sending a stream of superheated plasma at Gale at his full strength. This isn't his firepower mode -- but it'll have to do.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Explain."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "I think I just..."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man swears loudly.
Bass strikes Gale Sorcerer with his Payload attack.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "I'm going to kill that mage, I'm going to KILL HIM..."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "It wasn't long, but I think he /saw me/."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Bass transmits, "Tengu. You get a promotion if you help me KILL IT."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Yes SIR. Dad, is the mist clear? I WANT TO HELP."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Beta CO Metal Man transmits, "I'm still evacing the civies as orders."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Hell, do I still have to keep up this disguise?"
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "The mist is dissipating. Your holosystems indicate they have adjusted to the field as well. I'm uploading that modifications to the other holoemitters."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man says, sweet as honey for all of three seconds, "Thanks, Dad."
King moves quickly on the back of his robo-horse, seeking to chase 'Storm Eagle'...and thereby block Tengu Man from the eyes of others even as he uses his 'chase' to effectively flee the area. However, his horse is a good bit slower than 'Storm Eagle'.
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "*a thoughtful pause* Bring me the holoemitter then join Bass."
[Radio: (B) Secure] Tengu Man transmits, "Gotcha..."
Bluegrass grimaces as she picks up... the remains. o.o Maybe if Elias is lucky... he can be a Cyborg. o.o If that she runs off, knowing fairly well, Elias' life hangs in the balance.
Wait. Elias' doesn't have a life. Okay. Elias' Existence, then.
Abernathy jerks his attention back toward the concealing--though diminishing--mist, gritting his teeth. The /sounds/ of a human being curbstomped into an unrecognizable pulp were, at least, completely unmistakeable. "Fair enough," he mutters to Bridgit, still waiting. Obviously not for long, however--the instant Bluegrass gets /back/, it'll be time to burn rubber. Such is his fixation on the matter at hand that the Storm Eagle/Tengu Man juxtaposition goes...almost unnoticed.
[Radio: (B) Secure] King transmits, "Lord Father Wily, what dost thou wish We should do? Cover the retreat of the others, or aid Bass in punishing those who attacked his dog?"
[Radio: (B) Secure] Dr. Wily transmits, "Cover the retreat King, if only to maintain the illusion. Once the area is clear, you may use your own discretion."
[Radio: (B) Secure] King transmits, "As thou wishest, Lord Wily."
Bluegrass charges for the jeep... (Ignore me! Ignore me!)Oo. If she makes it without reattracting Bass' ire... Bluegrass' carefully puts Elias' in... before jumping in herself. o.o
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Gamma CO Gemini Man transmits, "We don't have to do anything you say." "We outrank you."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Beta CO Metal Man transmits, "What you rambing about Gemini"
And then, all of a sudden, the mage is slammed into the air again by a massive plasma shot. Immediately, the whole negative mist fades away while Gale lies on the floor for some seconds. After managing to somehow kneel back, the mage startes at Bass for some seconds, his eyes shining intensely. "I... hate you all... blargh!" Suddenly, four Gale-s jump into the air charging towards Bass, each one from a different direction. They are just holograms though, the real Gale just crawls towards the jeep someway and drops himself on the back seat.
Gale Sorcerer turns off his holographic projection of Crystal Mist Spell.
Crystal Mist Spell has left.
Metal Man is here getting the last gumby Civilians out of here.
Gale Sorcerer projects a holographic image of Gale Sorcerer.
Gale Sorcerer has arrived.
Elias Kiritsu is a bloody pulp. If he was concious enough to have real thought processes, he'd probably be making a mental note to not do that again. Or run Treble over. Repeatedly. And then goe into hiding. In the suns core.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Gamma CO Gemini Man transmits, "We'll go to the biosphere, but not into your room."
Bluegrass dumps Elias in the back, and eyes Abby. "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" As she hangs on for dear life (her own). Need anymore encouragement? Look in Bass' direction.
"Nothing we can do now!" Bridgit shouts as she tightens her grip on the jeep. "Floor it and hope that black menace don't care!"
Bass roars with primal satisfaction at the hit scored on Gale. He continues to advance on Gale Sorcerer as he hits the ground, the UN operative actually orienting him in the direction of the Jeep.
Gale is able to buy time by sending up illusions at Bass, which only serve to irritate him; he sends powerful blows through them, his raw strength able to rip through the illusions -- but it buys Gale time to get some distance on the Force Commander.
"TENGU MAN!" yells Bass, as he struggles forward, eyes crackling with the violence that seeks release within him, "GET IT! GET IT NOW!"
As soon as he is clear, as soon as his father gives the word, Tengu-Storm runs *smack* into King, and looks right at his superior. <Hit me,> his gaze seems to say, <but not for real... I want to go...>
"Fine with me!" comes the snapped reply from Abby, who promptly does as bid and floors the jeep's gas, yanking the wheel around in a move sufficient to scare everyone currently riding as his passengers. Doesn't matter; they're getting the hell out of dodge before Bass can kill all of them.
King sweeps in close to Tengu/Storm, and as the Birdboy slams into him, and reaches out and just swings out with a shot to the head from the haft of the axe. "Have at thee!" However, if there were someone close enough to see, it would seem a very weak swing for someone of King's reputation.
King misses you with his Punch attack.
Tengu Man's eye go wide as if in pain as King 'gives him the axe'... and he drops out of the sky... Plummeting, plummeting to the ground, as fast as he can go to his father's side... He wants to HELP... As soon as he reaches the WilySaucer and is confident he's out of sight, he slams his hand into the holoemitter, shutting it off. The illusion of the Maverick Commander fades out of vision, and Tengu removes the holoemitter by force, looking to throw it gently back to his father... Bass is calling. Tengu's Rule, #1: Don't keep Bass waiting.

<Sword Man's Seal>
==============================================================================
Pharaoh Man sighs, " I am returning to base, Amun-Wily..." He then blinks away...
Pharaoh Man enters the Upper Nile.
Pharaoh Man has left.
Dr. Wily watches Ra go, then turns back to watch the scene unfolding. A scowl twists his face, and he wills Bass to catch and destroy that jeep.
King rides Caesura to the Wilysaucer, and dismounts there after Tengu has departed. "Prithee, Lord Father Wily, but if thou dost not mind, We will...refrain from joining in the general slaughter. Mayhaps it can be put down to Bass and his temper about Treble if fewer of us doth get involved."
Elias Kiritsu is bleeading all over the seat. Joy.
[OOC] Bass says, "The Jeep is an object on which his enemy is placed. The contents of the Jeep are irrelevant."
[OOC] Tengu Man gestures to illustrate his point, "Kablooie!"
Dr. Wily watches King absently as he dismounts. "Do as you will King. I imagine Bass has the situation well in hand." He laughs and inclines his head towards the retreating jeep and pursuing Force Commander. "I almost feel sorry for them. Once he gets old of them life is gonna be painful." He glances up as Tengu tosses him the holoemitter, and tries to catch it. He ends up bobbling it from hand to hand however, and spares an absent word to Tengu. "Get them before Bass does or there won't be anything left for you...." With that he finally gets the holoemitter to hold still and stuffs it in his pocket.
Bluegrass decides to help out. She opens her flight jets... slightly mind you, and turns them out. Bingo... extra speed. o.o
Bass continues to run after the Jeep, battling through the holograms. Along the way, his energy jewel reverts to a blue color, the extra power being routed back into his Buster systems. The Force Commander's eyes continue to gleam with wrath as he launches off another assault on Gale's general vicinity -- it probably won't blow up the Jeep. Probably.
Bass strikes Gale Sorcerer with his Neo Buster attack.
Bass changes into his Bass armor.
King nods at Wily, his expression reverential, and then he winces slightly as he regards the numerous minor wounds he suffered fighting 'Storm Eagle'. "Methinks We will leave the others to their...amusements." He chuckles. "We would not wish to cause conflict with Bass or Tengu Man in their irritation."
Your desc has been changed to 'Armor'.
Bridgit Cascio receives a radio transmission from Anthem.
Sword Man arrives from the Egypt.
Sword Man has arrived.
Sword Man marches in, as regal as ever. The White Knight of Wily is here!
Bridgit Cascio sends a radio transmission to Anthem.
Abernathy is driving a jeep. Not only is he driving a jeep, he's driving a jeep in the middle of a tiny, Egyptian town with tiny, cramped roads that were not originally designed with jeeps in mind. Not only is he driving a jeep, etc, he's being pursued by a madman with a gun who would like to brutally murder one of his passengers with no regard for what that might do to the REST of the contents of the jeep. ...No, everything is perfectly fine, thank you for asking.
Spotting Bass--and the oncoming attack--in the rear-view mirror with barely a second to spare, he slews the vehicle into a hard right turn, toward an promising alley. Unfortunately, this means Gale gets nailed with the Neo Buster anyway. At least the jeep didn't take the brunt of the damage.
While trying to avoid Elias's massive bleeding, Gale takes a look through the back of the jeep to try what it'll probably be his last chance to fix the mess and get out of here alive. Just then a fake Flash Man runs from Bass's left, shaking his arms and pointing behind him. "Stop!!! They've already called reinforcements! Rock and the others are heading towards here right now this way!! Let's get the hell out of here!!" However Gale does is just in time to recieve Bass's last shot right into his face. Well, there's no much to do after you fall half unconscious over the back seat of a jeep. Just hope his trick worked...
Gale Sorcerer turns off his holographic projection of Gale Sorcerer.
Gale Sorcerer has left.
Gale Sorcerer projects a holographic image of Flash Man.
Flash Man has arrived.
Dr. Wily blinks slightly as Bass unleashes his blast, and takes a moment to reply to King. "No, I don't think it would do to interfere. Bass seems to be just a bit angry." He chuckles. "Which will only make things more interesting in the end."
Bridgit Cascio receives a radio transmission.
Bridgit Cascio sends a radio transmission to Anthem.
Kings voice is tinged with contempt as he regards Bass with distaste. "Indeed. His inability to contain his emotions is enough to turn my stomach."
The holoemitter taken care of, Tengu fires his jets as soon as possible, launching himself up into the sky above... but not /too/ far up. He wants in on this... Utilizing all the speed given to him he catches up to the Jeep and Bass, lurking above the Field Commander. Slowly Tengu begins to charge up energy in his black-and-white forearms, small bolts of electricity crackling as he does so... (MY TURN. Let's...KILL HIM.)o. <Yes. Please. Do.> For once, the two ever-battling sides of Tengu that have surreptitiously emerged are in complete agreement. They've stayed quiet, fed by the energies of conflict.. now it's time to kill something. Yes. The Demon is ecstatic... This is the part he loves. A small bolt of electricity goes flying out toward the swerving Jeep... not the normal output, but all he can manage that quickly.
You miss Gale Sorcerer with your Generic Ranged attack.
Bluegrass lets go of the Jeep. (God. Ah hope Ah survive this...)Oo. And turns her jets on full blast. The objective -- To focus Bass' hatred on her... and get the others to safety. Beyond that... she has no idea. Still, she has to work with what she got... which is why She is flying at Bass at Ramming speed.
"Comin' atcha!!!"
Bluegrass strikes Bass with her Ram attack.
Now thoroughly ignoring the various suicidal elements also stuck in the jeep with him, Abby guns it down the alley, attention primarily on getting everybody out alive. That is, so he can kill them all later. Unfortunate street people run screaming from the madman, his jeep, and the rest of the entire assemblage. Thankfully, this means Tengu's attack goes completely wild. Not that Gale didn't deserve it. At some command from Bri, the jeep makes another wild right turn, sending /another/ unhappy pedestrian scrambling for his life.
Bass continues to charge onward at the Jeep, drenched in Elias' blood, burned from `Flame Stag's flames across his face, completely deranged with wrath. He starts to change colors as he runs, Buster cycling...
Flash Man's voice is heard dimly in the back of his mind. Rather than frightening Bass, though, it invigorates him -- the potential of fulfilling his Purpose, his Function drives him onward, joints straining to move faster.
. o O ( Rock is coming!? YES! But I need to get ready -- I have to be near full strength to survive a fight with Mega Man...and while I'm at it, I can finish off this UN pest! ) O o .
The Force Commander continues to charge, body turning a translucent black, a white wireframe outline showing his various highlights. He rounds the corner of the alley; and gets nicked by Bluegrass, taking a hit to his other shoulder and spinning slightly on his feet. She didn't hit him solidly enough to stop him -- or knock him down.
After that interruption, Bass reaims his Buster at the Jeep and fires at it! Oh no!
A pulse of gravity and anti-energy sears out at the rolling vehicle, looking to consume Gale -- he'll deal with Bluegrass momentarily. If it hits, Gale gets sucked into a subspace warp for a few precious instants ... and God knows what else happens in there. Did Bluegrass throw Bass off enough to save Gale's life?
[OOC] Bass says, "Muh hah hah hah."
[OOC] Abernathy cries.
[OOC] Abernathy says, "I don't want to die today!"
Bass misses Gale Sorcerer with his Distortion Cannon attack.
[OOC] Tengu Man says, "Oh, that Bass. :)"
[OOC] Bass says, "And it misses again. Stupid Repliforce JUNK! <kicks Void by proxy>"
[OOC] Bass says, "That's it. I'm sticking with Maverick primaries. They're more twinky and hit more."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Tengu Man transmits, "Bass, sir. I'll get that...woman...off yer back..."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Bass transmits, "DO IT."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Beta CO Metal Man transmits, "I'm clear of the area with the other civies as ordered. Anything else ?"
[OOC] Gale Sorcerer says, "everyone will want to kill me after this *sob*"
[OOC] Elias Kiritsu says, "We already do."
[OOC] Abernathy says, "Pot. Kettle."
Bridgit Cascio is screaming into her radio and at Abernathy at the same time. This is interesting. "If I were a total jerk I'd throw that fool out the back!" she bellows, glaring at the bleeding Elias and equally battered Gale. "I AM NEVER LISTENING TO YOU AGAIN," she informs the beaten sorceror. She then whips around, rummaging around in the glovebox for something, ANYTHING to use as a weapon and throw at Bass. That's when that frighteningly destructive weapon known as the Distortion Cannon goes wide, shaving a chunk off the outframe of the jeep and crashing into a nearby building. "AAAGH! He missed! Hahaha.. wait, that means he'll hit us next time! Turn left! Let's shake him off!" She's not thinking very straight - how could she, having the Force Commander hot on their heels?
Elias Kiritsu bleeds. Bleedybleedybleed.
A most sinister look fills Tengu Man's eyes as he watches the pure fury and rage of his Force Commander. (Now there...there is someone I'd be proud to call 'brother'...)o. <He's too much like /you/...too much fury... Too much DEATH.> Akuma-Tengu abruptly kills all speed as Bass continues after the Jeep. This time, he turns his attention toward the Musica Guard... Bluegrass. He zooms toward her after her attack on Bass, extending the Tengu Blade. He slashes, hoping to cut her up...
Gale Sorcerer just emits various sounds in a state of half-unconsciousness
You miss Bluegrass with your Tri-dagger attack.
"He'll WHAT?!" comes the incredulous cry from Abby, who obediently turns left--after mashing some poor unfortunate cat into a furry black-and-white smear on the pavement. Good thing they don't worship cats in Egypt anymore. Apparently, he's not thinking terribly straight, either. Heat of the moment.
Regulus has arrived.
Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> arrives from the Upper Nile.
Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> has arrived.
Repliforce Dropship <Falconis>
Compared to the other ships within the Repliforce Fleet, the Falconis' purpose is quite clear. With a sleek design, the craft has obviously been constructed for speed and manoeuvrability, unlike some of the more warlike ships that prefer brawn to the ability to avoid injury through speed. While the dropship may look sturdy enough, it still remains obvious that the design has sacrificed armour in favour of being able to rapidly weave its way through defensive parameters. Fast in, fast out. That's its motto.
Carrying:
Jet Stingray
Selene Chantrell
Plasma Harrier
Prismatic Spider
[OOC] Tengu Man says, "Hi Repliforce! :)"
[OOC] Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> says, "Hi. Did someone order a large with double cheese?"
[OOC] Tengu Man points at Bass?
<And now...the best pose of the night.>
Bass charges onward, returning to his normal coloration; he jumps onto a parked bicycle (?!) and starts pedalling like mad, which with Bass' reactor reacts like a racing motorcycle. He peels rubber and rockets off after the Jeep, which he starts to gain on rapidly. Tengu Man should be enough for Bluegrass to handle.
The Force Commander, who could easily win the Tour De France at that speed, rockets along after the Jeep. He switches his cannon back to a normal hand to hold onto the handlebars, pedalling like crazy to pull up alongside the Jeep. The smear of the cat doesn't even make Bass' tire jump overmuch at the speed he's going at -- the tires are already smoking.
Bass' coloration switches again -- taking on a black/red coloration, with a mysterious Red Dragon on his chest. He pulls in close to the Jeep, Ben-Hur style, and swats at Gale's body with a rusty pipe (!!) that appears from nowhere in hyperspace, looking to either take off his head or make him fall out of the Jeep.
Bass strikes Gale Sorcerer with his Rusty Pipe attack.
Gale Sorcerer falls to the ground, unconscious, due to massive systems damage.
[OOC] Bass says, "This is the best scene ever."
[OOC] Bridgit Cascio BWAHAHAHA!
[OOC] Tengu Man falls over laughing. :)
[OOC] Gale Sorcerer says, "careful, I'm going down! :D"
[OOC] Abernathy dies laughing.
[OOC] Tengu Man has this mental image of Bass on a tricycle.
[OOC] Abernathy crashes the jeep, meanwhile, but oh well.
[OOC] Bass says, "Get on! I hear the law!"
[OOC] Bridgit Cascio watches the entire IC UN faction get killed by Bass. Sheeeit.
You hand Bass a cookie!
Well, luck wasn't supposed to last forever, was it. And Gale's hit by Bass's pipe, and this time he really goes unconscious. Well, not only that. He also falls out of the vehicle. Seems like we'll be a having a dead sorcerer today...
Bluegrass shakes the stars from the impact, and watches as Bass attacks Gale... and succeed. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" She loads up a Thunder Bolt and fires at Bass. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!"
Bluegrass misses Bass with her Thunder Bolt attack.
Tengu's eyes widen as he sees Bluegrass firing off a Thunder Bolt at Bass. If that hits... He's in trouble. He fires his jets and attempts to tackle Bluegrass at full force, to try and keep her out of it... "Play with fire...you get BURNED," Tengu hisses as he hurtles toward Bluegrass.
"Drive drive drive drive!" Bridgit babbles, flailing her arms around. She looks in her mirror, and sees Bass. On a bicycle. About all she can see is his face. And that nice little warning on the bottom of the mirror.
'WARNING: OBJECTS IN MIRROR MAY BE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR.'
This does not comfort her. "AAAAAGH!" It also doesn't comfort her when Bass busts Gale's head open with a rusty pipe, sending the UNer out the back of the getaway car. "AHAHA! Great! Just great! Stay alive until Repliforce gets here... not bloody likely!" Then she remembers that there's a bleeding human in the back seat. "I'm glad this isn't mine," she mutters as she rips a piece of the upholstery free from the jeep, swivels around in the seat, and stuffs the bit of cloth into the gaping wound. Maybe Elias won't die. Then Bridgit won't have the fun of KILLING HIM HERSELF. "Don't you dare kick off you--agh!" She bounces in her seat, almost falling out herself. Potholes are bitches.
Now this--this is a definite 'wtf?!' moment. Abby glances unconsciously toward the black /blur/ pacing the jeep, only keeping the stupid thing somewhere the middle of the road by sheer luck alone. . o O (EYES BACK ON THE ROAD!) He glances back forward, having entirely /missed/ Gale catching it to the head. However... "--We just lost another one, didn't we?" he asks, calmly, swerving to avoid the next pot hole, lest they lose Bri, too. And that would be a real tragedy.
Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> races onto the scene at horrific speeds, the Spider at the helm keeping things under control as the dropship zooms above the chaos, the rear doors opening even as it flies overhead to begin the extraction.
Jet Stingray has arrived.
Plasma Harrier has arrived.
Gale Sorcerer lies there. On the ground. Yeah, he does.
You damn right it'd be a tragedy. Then who'd swear at people from the cockpit of a tank? Bridgit manages to shift herself around back into her seat, clinging to whatever she can for dear life. She's done what she can for Elias, since she's not a doctor. Now she's just hoping to get out alive - not necessarily unharmed, even, just alive - and looks around for the Repliforce ship. "Where the hell is it?!" she groans, looking around the sky for, well, anything.
Serenade has left.
Bass continues to pedal frantically, keeping pace with the racing car...Elias' blood dripping off the end of his blackened, blistered nose like sweat. Gale flies out the back, body skidding across the dirty road. Joes are already moving in to collect the corpse for a `special' idea of Bass'. Oh yes.
Bass' plans of carnage are interrupted when the bicycle chain abruptly shatters from the stress put upon it. Bass starts to lose ground against the Jeep -- and he has one more target to acquire.
The Force Commander makes a desperate lunge off the dying bicycle, just in time to miss the vehicle hitting a pothole and flipping end over end. He reaches out his hands and tries to grab Elias' legs, falling short of the Jeep ...
And trying to take Elias with him.
Bass strikes Elias Kiritsu with his Grasp attack.
You hand Gale Sorcerer a cookie!
Gale Sorcerer has disconnected.
You hand Elias Kiritsu a cookie!
You hand Serenade a cookie!
Elias Kiritsu hands you a cookie for a job well done!
Jet Stingray merely looks out of the Falconis with a sigh. "And there is the green flag...." he offers quietly before leaping out of the Dropship. He falls like a rock for a few seconds, finally firing up his foot jets after some time the past so that he can hover about fifty feet in the air. His weapon systems online and ready to go. His faceplate amp turned on the loudest setting, the Stingray of Battle cries out, "Robot Masters... Time to learn why the U.N. keeps up around! Repliforce, MOVE OUT!"
Plasma Harrier drops out of the Falconis's open hatch in a backflip, then spreading his wings wide. The avian reploid begins to circle the scene, trying to look for the area of this debacle that he is needed most at, "Right behind you, Jet... Let's teach these tin cans a lesson they won't soon forget."
"Well there goes the other one!" Bridgit shouts as she hunkers down into the seat. "Maybe Repliforce'll save their worthless arses. As for us, go! Gotta be a ship around here... THERE! THERE!" She shouts in excitement, waving her hands and pointing in the direction of the Falconis, visible between buildings. "Go there! Yes!"
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Bass grunts, but chuckles. "Good. Got them /both/. I need cover fire ... I'm taking a little trip. Be back before ... tea."
Elias Kiritsu is as good as ripped out of the jeep by Bass, bleeding profusely. If Elias was awake, he'd definately be sure he was gonna die.
Bluegrass watches as Bass grabs Elias and shakes her head... (Not another one. No more!!!)Oo. Diving out of the way of Tengu's headlong rush... she rushes to Bass, and then... goes into a cartwheel... Spinning her way to Bass... "Ah won't let ya harm 'im anymore!!!"
And then, goes into a multiple Punch and Kicking Scheme. Gymnastic Style.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Tengu Man transmits, "Hm."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Tengu Man transmits, "Right. The Replifreaks are here."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Tengu Man transmits, "Also. Look out behind you."
Bluegrass strikes Bass with her Gymnastic Attack attack.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Bass transmits, "Wha --" *crunch*
"Down, girl!" Abby rebukes, his own considerable--well, relief--on spotting the Falconis horribly evident. Or maybe he's just happy that Elias and Gale got dragged out. "Where's the rest of Repli--GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY, DAMN YOU!" This shouted at a--nun?--who picked exactly the wrong moment to run across the street in front of the jeep. Swerving frantically, he barely evades making the Catholic Church murderously angry with the UN--and resumes 'retreating' toward the Falconis, fingers wrapped around the wheel in a veritable death-grip.
Bass hits the ground, Elias satisfactorily slamming into the turf with him. He scuffs his armor, but otherwise holds together; he pulls himself up, just in time to get hit by a flurry of weak blows by Bluegrass.
The Big Black Guy snarls, turning his attentions towards Bluegrass. He puts out his other hand, putting it into a choke formation; and it /shoots/ at her, aiming at Bluegrass' throat. Regardless of if it hits or not, it comes back after the damage is done, or not done. All he needs is a second.
Bass strikes Bluegrass with his Rocket Choke attack.
Bluegrass is temporarily disoriented by Bass's Rocket Choke attack.
[OOC] Metal Man says, "FALL BEFORE THE FISH! YOU CAN NOT SURIVE HIS RAGE!"
[OOC] Bass appoints Metal Man as his Hype Boy.
Tengu Man halts his progress forward, zooming upward to gain a few more feet of altitude. He mutters into his radio as he sees Bluegrass go off after Bass again...too late. Then he sees that it's all taken care of... Bass will be Bass, and so he should probably GET THE HECK OUTTA THE WAY. He turns his back to Bluegrass to glare at the arriving Repliforcers. "Huh. Morons... HEY REPLIFREAKS! YOU'RE /LATE/!" he yells in their general direction before taking off into the air to show them where he is. Yes, that's right. He'll keep them away from Bass. He'll get that promotion, darnit!! In any case, he makes himself highly visible...and ready to engage the Repliforcers, if need be...
(...Well, I... wanted his... attention...)Oo. She squirms in Bass' tight graps. "Ya'll not goin' ta get away with this..." she states as best as she could...
"Hahahaha! Yes! We're not gonna die today!" Bridgit claps her hands gleefully, but at the sound of her radio she looks back over her shoulder. "But she is! Dammit! We are never doing this again without a tank and a platoon of frickin' soldiers!" The nun gets a filthy look as they swerve past her, but she's too busy trying to hang on for dear life to give the finger like she wants to.
As Bluegrass gets briefly dealt with, Bass slings Elias carelessly over one shoulder; further covering himself in Elias' blood. He's not going to hold up much longer at this rate. His eyes continue to glow a flaming red as he slowly advances back down the street, grabbing Gale with his other hand and putting him over his other shoulder, mostly dragging the humanoid along.
Bass is now covered in civilian shields. This is a good thing for Bass; let's see if Repliforce will shoot through them to get to him. With his `armor' in place, and not too much worse for wear considering the battles he's fought tonight, he calmly begins walking towards the nearest teleporter. A sick grin stays on his face, driven by an artistic malevolence...
It's time to teach some lessons to the United Nations.
Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> takes full advantage of it's maneuverability to land neatly ahead of the racing Jeep, approximately five hundred yards ahead. Luckily, the people in the street have long vacated before the crazed Abernathy, allowing it to land without fear of harming anyone. Of course, if the Jeep doesn't brake, it'll probably cause a horrific accident... But that's why he WARNED them, right?
Bluegrass slowly recovers and momentary GLARES, but as she is about to attack once more, she stops as she sees who Bass has. "<CENSORED>!!!"
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Tengu Man transmits, "Hrnn...they're getting away... I guess I'll go humor the Replifreaks..."
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Bass transmits, "I have the ones I want. Keep the fire off me."
"You're gonna stop, right?" Bridgit asks Abernathy as she braces her feet against the floorboards of the speeding vehicle.
[Radio: (A) Disney-Masters] Tengu Man transmits, "Got it."
Plasma Harrier 's eartufts fan out a bit at Tengu's proclaimation. He turns to face the strange Master, tilting his head and grinning with his arms crossed, "Yeah? Sorry, but traffic held us up. Didn't want to suck in any of those annoying seagulls into the dropship's engines, ya know?" He then shrugs, "Whatever... I think you need someone your own size to pick on... namely me!" The harrier then clutches his right hand talon, forming a blue plasma saber and hurtling towards the tengu in a barrel-roll, swinging at him, "Let's dance, freak..."
Plasma Harrier misses you with his Plasma Saber Slash attack.
Harmony arrives from the Egypt.
Harmony has arrived.
"Yeah, yeah. Let Replifarce handle /her/, she chose to go--yes, I'm going to stop, why do you AAAAAAHAHA!" Hello, dropship. Slamming mightily on the breaks, Abby grits his teeth and hangs on for dear, sweet life as the jeep /skids/ to a stop before the Falconis, front bumper barely touching the thing. Barely. ...And to add insult to injury, the airbag chooses to deploy. *fwump*
Harmony has left.
Tengu Man watches the Repliforce Harrier come out at him, smirking under the mask as he hears a challenge. "Figures that you'd be sentimental about EVERYTHING," Akuma-Tengu remarks, arms folded, as he awaits Plasma to come at him head-on. When the bird reaches him he merely slides in the air just far enough over to avoid the attack, and yet just enough to keep him in range for an attack himself. He moves his nearest hand, balling it up into a fist to try and slam Plasma in the face or body, whichever is easier. "Dance? You wouldn't keep time, I /hate/ that."
Harmony has arrived.
You miss Plasma Harrier with your Punch attack.
Jet Stingray merely lands rather close to where Bass and Bluegrass are, noting the tatic he uses. Regardless of the evil Elite's efforts, Jet still aims his armcannon at him. Like usual, Jet talks with that same mouth that gets him in almost as much trouble as Iris. "Lookie, Lookie. Seems like Fin-head is playing the 'coward' trick. Got damaged by a few UNers so, when a real fight comes his way, he goes scared. Typical. Only acting big and bad when you think you have the edge. Figures. Now, put them down so I can kick your aft right and call this a night."
[OOC] Elias Kiritsu says, "Jet, you're fragging lucky you're a reploid, or you'd suffer the same fate that I suffered."
[OOC] Dr. Wily says, "no..yer luckier. Bass can keep him concious longer...."
[OOC] Bluegrass says, "...That didn't save Gale, Elias."
[OOC] Jet Stingray is a reploid... Which only means he can survive repeated encounters like this and still not have scars. ;D
[OOC] Elias Kiritsu says, "Gale didn't use to have A CROTCH!"
[OOC] Bluegrass just hands Elias the 'The Adoption Advantage'. :)
Mmm. Airbag. Bridgit rocks in her seat as the airbag smacks her in the face. Muttering curses all the way, she flails around until she's able to punch at the side of the bag repeatedly, which causes it to speed up its deflating. "I hate safety devices!"
Bass keeps walking towards the teleporter, draped with bodies, leaving a trail of blood in his wake. He hears Jet land, but doesn't look over. He'd know Apple Pie anywhere. He can't help but smirk at the extremely /blatant/ ploy on Jet's part to make him lose his evening's entertainment.
"Unfortunately, Apple Pie," says the Force Commander, continuing to walk along, "destroying you isn't as interesting as what I'm going to do tonight. I would suggest you take your remaining
