More San Cons |
I am sorry to announce that there will be no more San Con gaming conventions. It is a long story, but basically, I got burned out and have not wanted to run it for the last three years. I let the club continue to run it. Robin Parrish became the convention coordinator and she carried the ball from 2003-2005. This year she had to concentrate on her education. She had to limit her involvement with the club. Each year, the attendance numbers were getting little lower. I decided that I did not want to break-in rookie club officers to try and do a convention this year. 10 years was enough for me. It was time to let it go. It’s been a great run, but, turn out the lights, the party is over…. So long and thanks for all the fish…. etc. etc. Over the years, there were so many that made major contributions to the convention: Stephen Turner, Robert and Robin Parrish, Marvin Knighton to name but a few. P.S. We are planning an informal get together over labor day weekend to do some board gaming. Email if you are interested. Thanks

What We Do |
We play games of course: Board games, card games, RPG, Computer Games.... You name it we play it! |
|
Do you know how to get in touch with us? We kinda do. |
1. No one is allowed to quote Monty Python dialog until after 8:00 PM at any meeting of the society. We actually made it to 8:00 PM one night and were amazed at ourselves. "You'll be stone dead in a moment" - Dang, broke the rule again!
2. Any one under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The college makes us do this one.
President - Micah Clausen
Micah started with the club when he was in high school. His first choice is role playing, but he also plays CCG’s and board games.
Vice President – Cory Clausen
Cory is usually running some sort of role playing event. He also watches the cokes fridge when Micah is not around.
