Personal Essays by Richard Reid

Personal essays are meant to tell a great deal about the thoughts and personality of the author. They represent a snapshot of what's on the writer's mind at some particular stage of life. They are supposed to go deep, expose character, tell of serious feelings. Perhaps some feelings will change after the writing, sometimes dramatically, I suspect not. Below are a few things that have caused me some serious thought over the last few years.
