Livestock Show Purchase Agreement

I, We, or the firm agree to make the first bid of $_________________ per pound/or pen of _____________________________ being fed by _____________________________________.

Sponsors are required to start the bid at the “Sale of Champions” on animals or plants which make sale. If the project does not qualify, the sponsor is not required to purchase the project.

Suggested Sponsor Rates

Plant Projects $25.00 - $50.00

Rabbits – Pen of Three $40.00 - $50.00

Broilers – Pen of Three $40.00 - $50.00

Turkey Hen or Tom $50.00 - $75.00

All rabbit, broiler, and turkey projects will be processed by the student and delivered to the sponsor.

Market Lambs $1.50 - $2.00 per pound of live weight

(Market lambs will weigh 95 to 145 lbs. live weight)

Market Goats $1.50 - $2.00 per pound of live weight

(Market goats will weigh 75 to 125 lbs. live weight)

Market Hogs $1.50 - $2.00 per pound of live weight

(Market hogs will weigh 195 to 265 lbs. live weight)

Market Steers $1.50 - $2.00 per pound of live weight

(Market steers will weigh 895 to 1350 lbs. live weight)

All market animals will be delivered to the packing company of the sponsor’s choice by the student. Meat will be delivered to the sponsor after being processed, if desired. The sponsor will be responsible for any processing fees on large animal projects.
