"Since I planned on a STOCK appearing look I opted for the 472 cubic inch Mopar Performance Crate HEMI instead of the 528 aluminum head engine. In addition my convertible is destined to be a cruiser and not a drag car. I'm installing the reproduction HEMI cast iron exhaust manifolds with a TTI 3" exhaust system. Backed by a HEMI 4-speed and a 4.10 Dana, this Challenger should have ample acceleration for street driving." |
