The magic of streaming television webcasting is available through the same multimedia software that brings internet radio stations into your computer.  This is a page of links that launch TV webcasts and individual television programs.  Keeping with our philosophy of "if it's British, it's better," you'll notice a definite slant in the direction of UK outlets.  Being able to tune in British broadcasting is probably what got me interested in web audio technology, and indeed many years ago why I started listening to international shortwave radio.  But there are also links that will launch news, entertainment, sports, financial, government and independent specialty TV outlets from other countries, including the United States.  Some inherently perform better than others, depending on your computer and your internet connection, as this technology improves.  We welcome your suggestions for other links you discover, as this new medium grows.  As on our other pages, there is a 24-hour clock that displays the time in GMT, or Greenwich Mean Time (also known as UTC, or Coordinated Universal Time).  TV schedules from DigiGuide for some channels are available on this page by clicking on station logos.  Links to web pages of some favorite British shows are included.  The Google search engine is featured on this web site.
