Shortwave web sites, radio webcasts and other world band radio links
Shortwave Links

These links lead to web sites that contain helpful information about shortwave radio listening, including frequencies and programs of major international stations, with a 24-hour clock that displays the time in GMT, or Greenwich Mean Time (also known as UTC, or Coordinated Universal Time).  BBC World Service schedules from DigiGuide are available by clicking on the BBC logo.  The main section consists of shortwave links including world band radio news and newsgroups, DX programs, audio archives and other shortwave-related sources.  There are readings of current solar weather affecting radio propagation from NOAA, courtesy of Majestic Research.  Another section lists SWL clubs, companies and publications.  A webcast of radio shows from the Golden Age of radio, as well as audio archives, are in the antique radio section.  We've included radio equipment manufacturers and distributors.  The bottom of this page contains links to popular internet search engines, including a direct link to the Google search engine.  Throughout the page are the receivers I use when listening.  The Hallicrafters WR-600W was submerged in the flood, and needs restoration.  I lost the RCA Victor 87K1.
