British Radio

Listeners the world over have found the BBC World Service to be perhaps the world's greatest international shortwave radio station, with an awesome variety of news and entertainment programs. Listeners in North American and the Australian region are no longer specifically targeted by these transmissions, although broadcasts beamed to other parts of the world are still generally audible. So it's natural that we extend the availability of British radio, and include a page of AM and FM stations in the London area (and other UK cities) with webcast links. Besides, London is the Center of the Universe! Schedules from DigiGuide are available on this page. There's news from the British radio industry, courtesy of UK Radio.com. Some other cool UK stuff rounds out the experience, including London's current weather conditions and forecast from the Weather Channel and an embedded converter for translating Centigrade into Fahrenheit. As on our other pages, there is a 24-hour clock that displays the time in GMT, or Greenwich Mean Time (also known as UTC, or Coordinated Universal Time).
