Teaching discipline is a major part of our overall mission here in the Channelview JROTC program. Your son does not need to be disciplined prior to signing up for the program. There are a few cases of young people totally rejecting the structure and methods JROTC offers. In those rare cases, we recommend withdrawal. You might want to check out my article on discipline.
What credit will my child get for taking ROTC? He or she will receive one credit per year in Physical Education or an elective. Stay tuned.
