Welcome to my new home. I've been here since August 21, 1998. I kinda miss the Philippines, but Houston can be a lot like the Philippines. The weather is almost the same and the people can be just as nice. I have been to cities in the east and west coast and the people are really friendlier in Houston...or Texas.
So here are my favorite places in Houston...I guess first is Memorial Park especially during spring or fall. August and I are trying to rollerblade..okay..actually I'm trying to learn how to and memorial park is a good place to learn it. The picture to the right of this paragraph is a picture of my mom and dad in Memorial Park in Houston. Another favorite place in Houston is the Galleria. August and I used to rent an apartment near the Galleria. We were 5 minutes away from the mall...
Somebody told me that Houston had the most over weight number of people. I believe it. People here can eat. Houston has a good variety of restaurants. We have Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Italian restaurants that are really really good. There's a Filipino restaurant here but its not as good as mom's cooking! :) My favorite restaurant is Tony's by the Galleria. August brought me there for my birthday last year. I had such a blast..the food and ambience were excellent.
