J.C.'S Page - Meet my Family

This is my family back in the Philippines. I am the eldest child and the only girl. My family lives in the Paranaque, about 20 minutes away from Makati.

Meet my Dad. His name is Serafin Marquez. Just in case you're wondering, he was named after a priest in the town where he was born. His name, Serafin, is a rank of an Angel...kinda like cherubin. He is an ex-military man turned successful banker. He is managing the family business. He owns his own lending investors company called Fast Assist. I admire him so much that whenever somebody asks me who my hero is, I would say my dad. He is very smart and he has inspired me to be the person that I am.

Meet my mom. Her name is Julie Marquez. My mom is pure Chinese. Her maiden name is Chang. She manages the family's construction company. During the morning, she would be out in the field seeing to it that her construction projects are going smoothly and then in the afternoon, she will be home making sure that everything in the house is right. Aside from being my mother, she is also my best friend. She knows everything that goes on in my life. She has been supportive of all my decisions. When I grow older, I want to be like my mom.

Meet Jerico. His full name is Jose Jerico Marquez. He is the middle child. He is currently working in a bank. He likes basketball and going out.

Last but definitely not the least, meet Carlo. His full name is Jose Carlo Marquez. He is the sweetest brother one can have. He is currently on his second year in college taking up Engineering. He took up Engineering so he can help with the family business in the future. I am proud of my brother because despite being the youngest in the family, he is very mature. He knows when something is not right and he tries to fix it. He is also very sensitive to the needs of the family. I would say that he is the least selfish in the family. He would always be ready to give when somebody needs help. He loves to play basketball, in fact you can't really talk to him when he's either playing or watching a game.
